Played On 03/26/2018Terrible Greens
The greens are in terrible shape. This happened last year. It took several months until they were playable again. The lay out is excellent. The rest of the course was in good shape.
Will be back, but not for a few months.
I wouldn't recommend until the greens are back.
WestRidge Golf Course
Played On 09/30/2017Played here earlier in year, ALL GREENS were unplayable. 80% were a lot better today. Driving range off mats???? Don't know why.
Wildhorse Golf Club of Robson Ranch - South/West Course
Played On 05/27/2017Wildhorse Robson Ranch
Have played here before. This golf course has always been in good shape. The staff has been very friendly. It's kinda of a drive but well worth the trip. Some many of the courses in the DFW greens are in very bad shape, but they still charge full price. Chipping and putting is where you score. Will be back to play again soon.
Bridges - The Masters at Firewheel Golf of Garland
Played On 05/21/2017The Bridges
This course is in great shape. The GREENS ARE EXCELLENT.
With so many DFW golf courses with terrible greens that should be shut down, it was great to play a real golf course.
Will definitely return.
WestRidge Golf Course
Played On 04/01/2017Have played here before. Never seen the greens this BAD. Should have been given a discount when the course is in this bad of shape or close the course til it's better shape.
Like putting on uneven shag carpet.
The ball bounced hopped all over.
Usually give a better rating, but the greens were terrible.
Some of it was hail damage, but most was green painted dead spots.
Either way, not worth full price.
Won't be back til they grow back.
Frisco Lakes Golf Club
Played On 03/06/2016Wish the cups were cut correctly & the range was opened
The layout is nice. The driving range was closed AGAIN. The cups were cut at Green level or above, making it terrible putting. They should be cut below green level. They are always cut like this. Thought maybe it's just an inexperienced greens keeper. When they learn to cut the cups correctly and open the range, it's a very nice course.
After my round this last Saturday I think I'm taking this course off my DFW list.
The course is in poor shape.
