Despite nice weather and middle of the day on a Sunday, the course didn't seem very busy. However, I caught and played through one group on 2nd hole, then joined a twosome on 5. We waited on every shot the whole rest of the round, several tee boxes had three groups stacked up. Even considering some grass is still dormant (what grass there actually was), course was in bad condition overall. Definitely overpaid for what I got today.

Love layout and I want to like the course, but...
tee boxes are always bad (grass is way too long and very uneven footing), lots of ground under repair right now that conveniently wasn't acknowledged (by signage not staff) until we were already playing and away from clubhouse, this is 3rd round in a row (going back to last year) where my group has had to wait on shots while sprinklers get turned on in front of us or an employee goes out to spray down greens just as we are about to hit our approach shots.

Played solo on a Sunday morning with VERY few others on the course; pace was awesome. Tee boxes are cut way too long and fluffy, and you can expect several poor contact tee shots on any iron, hybrid, or FWs teed low. With the amount of doglegs, short holes, and tree lined fairways, be warned. I feel like price-value is a little high at Crescent, but it is the best overall of the 3 courses in the neighborhood (Pevely and Aberdeen).

I like the layout of the course, but I only play it because it's close to my house and usually offers a little better online rates than nearby Aberdeen and Crescent Farms. Normally this course is ok at the right price, but I won't be back any time soon due to a very poor experience during another round a few weeks later.
