A great round at a great course! Gaylord is blessed with good golf courses, and this is no exception! The clubhouse was friendly and accommodating, the course conditions were excellent, the routing itself is just challenging enough to hold your attention, the greens were quick and true, and they made safety a priority!

Only "complaints" -- and they are minor -- are that the golf carts are older and not very powerful, and that there were a few greens with some minor condition problems, though the issues were off on the margins of the green and not near the cups.

This is my favorite course in Southwest Florida, hands down. It's always in excellent condition, the staff are friendly, the driving range is excellent, as are the practice greens and chipping area. The carts are in great shape. It's just really, really well managed.

The course itself is interesting, with a nice mix of features and challenges. It's fair, and it can be rewarding to players of many ability levels by simply selecting the right tees for your abilities.

I am particularly fond of the fact that the course winds through natural beauty, with very few condos or houses on the course itself. You really do feel part of the natural surroundings.

The folks I've been paired with have been friendly and interesting.

Overall, I can recommend the course very highly.

First time playing this course, but was super-impressed by the value, the friendliness of the staff, the practice area (which was really excellent), the pro shop, and the restaurant. And the course was great, too.

The staff are taking great care to bring this course up to perfect standards, and they're achieving their goals! Other than just a few rough spots on the greens, everything was well manicured and managed. The track itself is interesting, challenging, and fun.

This isn't a cookie-cutter layout. It has some history. Some character. And personality. The tee boxes are thoughtfully placed. The bunkers are groomed. This really is a gem.
