Really fun layout. Amazing views, very getable par 5’s.

Visit the bar/lunch area after your round for good food. Very nice pro shop too.

Good course if you want to play in under 4 hours. Tough greens, and beautiful views. Good restaurant on the property for food, drinks.

Booked this course last minute as a single. Got paired up with three others, and had a good time. The course is nice, has a somewhat challenging layout. Make sure you have a gps while playing here as some of the holes are tight, and have water in which you cannot see from the tee box.

Conditions weren’t bad. Dormant rough, but the greens were ok. Fairways (most) need some work. Bunkers were nice and white, perfect.

Not a bad choice while on vacation. Waterlefe is worth the extra money to play.

Good course, and it provides a tale of two different nines.
Front-Flat
Back-Hilly, harder to navigate.

The course has a lot of bunkers, and you can leave the driver in the bag on a lot of holes as the course isn’t long.

Good shape, and probably best to ride this course as there are gaps in between some holes, especially on the back nine going underneath the road.

Not a bad course. Super slow pace of play, and apparently it’s the norm here.

Nicely designed holes, but very hilly. Some are flat. Mostly wide.

The layout is awesome, and a lot of the holes off of tee will make you think. They have a grass driving range so get there early for your tee time. Course was in very good shape even after a lot of rain.

This course back in the day was private and you can tell from the clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts, etc.

Worth the trip from Bergen County.

Make sure you go to Conte’s after your round. Amazing pizza, and I ranked it a 9.1. Barstool Sports ranked it a 8.9. 10-15 drive from the course for your “19th hole.”

For the price ($57.00) with a cart, Sunday morning. Very good deal, and the absolute right price for this course.

It’s dangerous in some spots, but the course layout is nice and it is kept in pretty good shape. Very nice greens, but take an extra look at the break as if you are above the hole, you’ll have a long day.

Drive your cart very slow going down the hills as they are steeper than you think.

Yes, there hasn’t been much rain. At the same time, I’ve never seen Sunset in such bad shape. The greens are in good shape, but the bunkers, tee boxes, and the fairways are all awful. So many patchy (bare spots) areas.

Not going to return for now.

The West Course is the better layout.
East isn’t long, but it’s a good course to work on the mid irons.

Front nine on East isn’t that good. The back nine on East is much better.
Conditions-Very good.

Very nice golf course. First time golfing down in Georgia, so it reminded me of layouts up in the northeast.

Very difficult. Play from the right tees, and you’ll have fun. Visually beautiful golf holes, but very challenging.

If you have never played here before, please do. You pull into the driveway, and you should ask yourself. Where is the Hote on this property? Haha. Conditions are always fantastic, and this course drains really well. When you think it’ll be cart path only, it won’t be here.

Bunkers always have fresh sand, tee boxes, fairways are always in great shape. Greens will never be lightning, but very fair. Don’t forget to hit the “Grass Only” range before your round.

Not a bad layout, but be aware that a lot of the holes are on top of each other. Very deep bunkers, and tough tough greens.

Just a heads up, there is no driving range at this facility, so visit Game On Driving Range which is about a 10-15 drive from here.

If you’re in the northern part of Tampa, this course is a very good option. Good conditions, with the greens running nice, fairways overall in good shape. Tee boxes were fine, and the bunkers overall were in good shape. The holes are isolated from other ones, so it gives a nice feel and course routing.
Saw four gators, so be prepared.

Please make sure to stop by the on-site bar and grill after your round. Get the Heritage Burger with the potato wedges. It was fantastic!

Not bad at all of a layout. There are a couple of funky holes in which you stand on the tee box and say “where the heck does this go?” Besides that, it’s a very nice golf course. The greens are perhaps one of the most difficult you’ll play on for a public golf course within an hour of New York City. The view from the tee box on hole #4, is beautiful.

Worth the drive to play here, but not for $75.00. $55.00 (which I paid to play here) is more than fine.

Has potential, but a very “blah” layout.

Played the Gold/Red 18.
Overall, it was pretty nice. There are some spots in which TLC is needed, but there isn’t enough of it to steer you away from playing here.

Tale of different nines. Front nine is beautiful and if you have played it, it will remind you of Charleston Springs South. The back nine is much harder and more hilly.

Nice little golf course here. Awesome par 3’s, and a good mix of par 4’s.

Hole #9 is a best. Long par 4.

Course conditions aren’t bad. Greens need a little TLC, same with some of the fairways. Overall though, all was fine.

Worth the trip from Bergen County.
