Lots of rotten apples....

My first and most likely last visit...
I was really opportunistic about this little course.
The course is a little unassuming as you drive west to the parking lot and the club house looks impressive. Whilst in the parking lot, it was a little interesting trying to figure out where the pro shop is. Once I figured that out, it was a little concerning that you are required to hump your gear down the equivalent of a gravel pit road to get to the shop. Things are rough.... It's still a job site.... Ok... Hopefully they have put theory into the course ....
The Pro Shop itself looked great! The welcome was a little less inspiring. The reception was experienced as curt and disinterested in doing anything other than taking my money.
The course itself has a lot of potential. I'll say some of the layout was a little ridiculous... But that could be me... Never played the course and was relaying with nothing but my game golf app. Most of the fairways are wide and accommodating. The tee blocks are flat and well maintained, but the greens.... Oh the greens.... They are small in relation to the wide vast faitways... Like postage stamp small... Hard, shaggy and in terrible shape. To put it lightly... the greens were HORRIBLE... I'm not joking... The parking lot was in better shape than some of the greens.
I'm sure with some TLC the course has some potential. There is some challenge and could be enjoyable.
As of today, if you are looking a touch better than playing in a cow pasture and you have +$40 burning a hole in your pocket - have at it....
As the saying goes.... The course looked great from a far.... But it was far from good.

Perfect 9 and a Pint!

Great little course for what it is! The greens are typically in great shape and run true! A little narrow on some holes and forgiving on others. More advance players can challenge themselves with playing from the blues where driver can be an after thought due to trees or obscured line of sight. Forward tees are great for those that haven't golfed and make a fun night out! This is a perfect 9 hole track to be in / out in 1hr 45 mins and be in the pub for a pint and wings!

Little Gem!

Love this course when it is in good shape!
The fairways are accomodating, the greens can be challenging and are usually moderate fast in pace. Some incredibly unique holes which keep things interesting. I think the course superintendent should embrace this rather than coming up with the most asinine pin placements from time to time.
Staff are great with the exception of some of the Course Marshalls - some of which you'd think we're gearing up to invade Poland. I'm a 4.3 index.... We are playing as fast as we can with the group in front of us and there is no one wIthin 3 holes behind us.... Pretty sure I don't need a time check...
Beware of the grumpy Marshalls....
