The Golf Club at Champions Circle
Played On 07/06/2021Chalenging and in good condition
The greens are in good shape. The rough is thick and deep which slows down play a bit because it is sometimes hard to find the ball. The pro shop has been closed since the winter freeze for structural repairs and there are temporary bathrooms (with running water).
Iron Horse Golf Course
Played On 4/21/2013Good condition for early Spring
This course has a lot of trees and other places to lose a ball which contributes to the slow pace of play. Every time I have been there it has been around 5 hours. No I am not the one holding things up. Anyway, that being said. It is a challenging course with interesting greens. If you hit your drives over 250 yards, you should play the tips or leave the driver in the bag. It is a short course from the Men's tees and the driver WILL get you in trouble if your accuracy is not pinpoint. The new GPS system is awesome. It has a touch screen and you can get custom distances to hazzards and landing areas.
Wildhorse Golf Club of Robson Ranch - South/West Course
Played On 9/30/2012Beautiful greens, nice course, heavy rough
Nice layout with very few trees. Well placed and groomed sand traps and water hazzards. Good condition, ample fairways surrounded by thick rough that is not so deep that you loose your ball but you will NOT get out clean. The greens are the nicest in Texas.
