I haven’t played for a while because of COVID-19. Went with my son and I was a simply a great day of golf. Great course in excellent condition. Pace of play was great. Waited a couple minutes a couple times. It was nice to get back out. The greens are beautiful

I have played here many times. It bugs me when Golfnow does not have a warning online that the greens have recently been punched and sanded. That was the case today. Putting was an adventure. Also the fairways have a lot of dirt spots. I have played here when it has been in much better shape than it was today. I know it is February but still it can be a lot nicer.

First time at this course. Drove 3 hours to get here to play.l The layout was excellent. Pace was great.
The greens were in excellent shape and rolled out very well. The only issue is that the course has a lot of bermuda grass and it is still dormant. Another month and the course should be really nice. I would wait that month before I would play again.

Just got to the third tee and waiting 3 groups deep on a par three. Condition of the course is terrible.
My friends told me not come here but I didn't listen. Should have !! Just getting going and wish I had gone to a different course. Many other courses in this area that are comparable in price and much much nicer.

I don't want to be sour grapes in this review but this course just isn't very nice in winter. I know that the fairways are dormant Bermuda but I was hoping for better. The greens however were excellent. They held approach shots beautifully and rolled great. I am sure this is a much more enjoyable course in the summer. I put that I wouldn't recommend this course but I want to qualify that by saying I wouldn't recommend it in winter. Summer may well be much different.

The course was in very nice condition. Greens rolling well but still a little slow after re-seed. The greens were very hard and it was necessary to hit approach
shots short and let them bounce and roll up to the pin or even on to the green. Nothing really bad to say about the course but it just didn't have a lot of character. Just kind of straight and kind of flat and a
little mundane.

I have played this course 3 times now. It is the most difficult course I have ever played and I have played golf for 25 years. The shots themselves are the same distance, etc. as any other course but the carries and terrain make them far more difficult.
That is the frustrating part. A 175 yard shot is not difficult until you add a small landing area and all of the yardage a forced carry. Smart golf is at a premium. Don't be a fool and go for every shot. Lay up and save some strokes. That is what I surely will do next time. I will definitely go back. Must figure this place out!!

I have played teal bend a couple times before. Looked forward to a nice round on a beautiful day today. The course was a little bit cow pasteury.
Greens had been punched about 5 days ago. Very upset that the greens situation was noted on golf now when I made reservation. I would not have played
There if I had know that upfront!!! Round moved very quickly but that was because nobody was playing there because of the greens.
All in all, I was very disappointed.

I found this course to be as nice as Yocha Dehe in terms of conditions at about half the price. It is in the middle of nowhere but worth the trip.
We were stuck behind a group that was apparently friends of the owner so the marshall wouldn't speed them up. So the round was hit wait hit wait.
That part do it was miserable. That said, the course itself was a quality golf course.

Played Phoenician many times. Being a Troon managed course one would expect the conditions to be excellent. Conditions were exactly that. Had a great day shooting the lowest I have shot in a while.
One can't go wrong with the Phoenician.

Yocha Dehe is a beautiful Troon property. Best way to spend thanksgiving day. Beautiful course, beautiful weather and nice fast greens. Can't wait to go back!!
