Victoria Hills Golf Club
Played On 02/02/2024Victoria hills in February
The course has changed over the years. The course and greens were in poor condition probably due to lack of water
The course is challenging but I love it.
Palm Harbor Golf Club
Played On 01/24/2024Palm Harbor golf
Excellent course for the price
Enjoyed the she crab soup and sausage sandwich
Victoria Hills Golf Club
Played On 02/26/2024Improvement
The front nine is in poor condition on both fairways and greens. What could be a great nine is essentially a practice nine. The back nine is the saving grace of the course. I played the course over January and February but the front nine did not improve. A couple of years ago it was a fabulous course. Shame on who let get in this condition.
Palm Harbor Golf Club
Played On 02/26/2021best course in Palm Coast area
Great course but very difficult to get on unless your a resident of Palm Coast. Best course I played in Florida.
Palm Harbor Golf Club
Played On 02/11/2021Great public course
I have played 5 or 6 different courses in the last 2 months from Ormond Beach to Palm Coast. Palm Harbor is hands down the best one yet.
Halifax Plantation
Played On 01/05/2021Wide fairways
Course suffering from lack of water. Front 9 greens in poor condition back 9 much better
Cypress Head Golf Club
Played On 02/11/2019Wet course
Course was limited to cart paths only. Too much walking. One of my favorite courses around Daytona Beach
Spruce Creek Country Club
Played On 02/08/2019Slow play
I have played this course several times. Today it was very crowded. It appears it hasn't grown much as there was a lot of bare spots.
RedTail Golf Club
Played On 02/20/2017Red tail
The course was in great shape. The greens were as fast as any I have played. It is my favorite course in Florida to play.
Legends Golf & Country Club
Played On 02/06/2017Legends
Well priced for the quality of the course. Will seek to play it again soon.
The Club at Pelican Bay - North Course
Played On 02/24/2015Somewhat like the typical northern courses I play.
Nice course in a residential setting. Homes along the course but do not interfere with play. Fairways have been over seeded. The greens were a mixture of emerging and dormant grasses which made putting inconsistent.
Indian River Preserve Golf Club
Played On 02/12/2015No expense spared in developing this course.
I am an intermediate level player 15-19 hdcp. I tried playing the course from the blue tees and after nine holes moved up to the white tees. I should have started at the red tees and worked backwards. It was the hardest course I have ever played. It has the most magnificent layout. However, I would not take an intermediate player who has ego problems about their game. I consider it to be more like a target course where, unless you hit the right spot to start with, you will be struggling to make a bogey. In order for me to enjoy it, I would have to tee up from the forward tees. My ego wouldn't permit it.
Riviera Country Club
Played On 02/03/2015Flat but with undulating greens.
Well kept course. It is very walkable. Not much character in terms of risk/reward. Greens were in excellent shape.
Victoria Hills Golf Club
Played On 01/28/2014Great course
I didn't find Victoria Hills until recently since it is not under courses in the Daytona Beach category. You have to look in NE Orlando. It will be one of first picks in the future. Tee selection is important.
LPGA International - Hills Course
Played On 01/15/2014Cart path only
The layout of the course was great. Unfortunately, it had rained the previous day and left the course saturated. In my opinion they should have closed the course. We had to stay on the course and slosh to the ball. Mud flew about every time we hit the ball.
Spruce Creek Country Club
Played On 01/08/2014Course provides reasonable challenges
Great course with reasonable fees. Staff was friendly and you felt welcomed. The conditions were good considering the cold weather that probably was slowing growth. One of my favorites when in New Smyrna Beach.
Spring Creek Golf Club
Played On 3/20/2013Greatest course in central and western virginia
The course was in excellent shape considering the amount of rain they have had recently. We were unable to take the carts on the fairways. That was an appropriate decision by the club.
However, the hilly nature of the course makes walking from and to the cart paths tiring for senior citizens. I would not play the course again under those restrictions. Handicap flags were not allowed. I look forward to returning to Spring Creek under different circumstances.
Shenvalee Golf Resort - Creek/Miller
Played On 3/13/2013Holes varied throughout the 18.
The course was in good shape given the amount of rain and snow just a few days earlier. We had the opportunity to pay $5.00 more for carts with covers. We played the Miller and Creek courses which are more of a challenge than the other nine.
Cypress Head Golf Club
Played On 2/04/2013Course was in great condition.
I have played 5 courses in the area within the last month. This was the last one I played. I found it to be the most interesting and well kept course. You determine the challenge by the length and the risk/reward on most holes. It has character in that it is not a straight out and straight back design. I didn't realize it was a municipal course to I had finished playing it. It was far superior to the other municipal courses I played in the area. Tee times are at a minimum. You will need to relax since it probably is full most of the time.
The Club at Venetian Bay
Played On 1/13/2013Excellent condition with wide landing areas
Difficulty of the course is a function of the length you choose. Most holes have generous landing areas.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Halifax Plantation, and we hope to see you again in the future.
