Played On 09/01/2020New owners, same crappy course
Played this course a handful of times over the years cause my buddy lives up there, he said they had new owners and the place was better......well he was wrong.
Where to start....
They are closing for overseeing next week, but already scalping the course. We had a mower cut the grass down to dirt on the tee box right in front of us as we were trying to play, they don't get out of the way. And dirt and dust just flying in our face.
Luckily he had already done the holes in front of us, but didn't put any tee markers back.
Carts are horrible, first one we had squeeled everytime we hit the gas, traded it in for another cart at the turn that we had to push up the hills. Cart paths were horrible, big pot holes that people have been driving around for years.
Restaurant was closed, they had cold beer, but half the drafts were out. Only hotdogs for food, but they were out of those as well.
Whoever cut the cups was asleep, on the side of holes, most of the greens were okay, but some had some summer wear and they put the cups right in the middle with so many better options. Also, just being picky now but a couple of the cups were slanted and not cut deep enough so the cup was at the surface of the grass.
The place looked run down, and they were offering summer rates so the price was cheap, but you still don't get what you pay for. Can't believe they don't shut it down to do the course overseeing like all the courses in the valley.
I guess one of the owners is a superintendent, but it's hard to tell by playing the course that anyone cares about it. New owners maybe, same crappy experience.
