I played here in February when all the grass except the greens was dormant. Despite that, the course was terrific. Greens were slick but manageable, sand in bunkers was perfect, tough track that requires thinking each shot through. Would ove to play here in the summer when the grass is alive

Bardmore apparently is getting ready for the course to be sold to a developer. I've played there several times in the last few weeks, and it seems like the place is a victim of benign neglect. I showed up at 10:00 today for a 10:22 teee time, and the starter laughed at me. "We're about an hour behind." was his response. The guy in the pro shop gave me a refund without saying anything, never apologized. I asked him for the cause of the delay, he said "full tee sheet." Well-run course don't have problems with full tee sheets.

Additionally, pace of play is a huge problem thaat management seems to care nothing about. No rangers, complaints to starter and pro shop get the response "yeah, it's slow today." Five hours is the norm there

Had to quit after 9 holes: I often play 18 in 3.5 hours. The pro was decent about the situation and gave us 2 rain checks

5 freaking hours for a round of golf is abominable and inexcusable! No rangers anywhere. I complained to the starter at the turn and he said, "I know." That's it?! We waited on every shot on every hole

Biggest complaint was pace of play. Even though the course wasn't busy (even on a Saturday morning) the round took nearly 5 hours because our threesome was behind a FIVEsome that was very slow. Waited on every shot on every hole. No one in front of them.

Other than pace, course was fun. Lots of water, but easily avoided if playing well. A little scruffy, but greens were very true
