Course conditions are not great. Greens are rough, leaves and sticks everywhere. Pace of play was horrible, but the guys in front of us looked relatively new to the game and didn’t know to let us through. But no Marshall to regulate anything. It’s a fine, average public course, but not GolfNow 4-star worthy.

I am visiting from FL and this was my first time golfing Tangle Ridge. Course condition overall is really good, they’re just redoing some of the bunkers, so currently there’s a lot of ground under repair. Pace of play was really slow, but that’s many public courses on a nice weekend day. The course layout is top tier and challenges you to put the ball in the right place of the fairway and green. The greens are in excellent condition and rolling very true. The course provides great scenery of beautiful Cedar Hill

I am visiting from Florida and I try to golf a new course in the area each trip here. This was Golf Club Fossil Creek’s turn. The experience was amazing, even with slow play. The round took 5hrs and 5 min to complete, but the atmosphere created by course staff, maintenance crew, and timeless golf architecture made it quite pleasant. I played with 3 guys I didn’t know and we had a great time and shared lots of laughs. There was something special about this round of golf that reminded me of why I play in the first place: pure fun. I highly recommend this course, especially if you haven’t visited yet. It is one of my favorites in the area now and I will certainly be back.

This was my first time playing Queen’s Harbor in a couple years and it is in as good of shape as ever. Fairways, bunkers, and greens are excellent. The rough is good, but there’s room for improvement. The greens were consistent and a good scoring speed (maybe rolling about 9.5), but the grain really affected the rolls bc they were a bit long. But that’s Bermuda for you. The course offers great views and challenges your course management. Overall, a good course to play for under $40

Best public golf course in the area. Greens are in fantastic condition and that’s really what matters most to me. Tee boxes, bunkers, and fairways also in great condition. Not the most unique layout, but certainly a good course with some good Florida views. Worth the value.

The course offered a good, challenging layout. Greens rolled true and were pure for the most part. Conditions were good, but had some areas for improvement. Excellent practice facility. Friendly staff.

Had a great time celebrating my buddy’s birthday. Fantastic condition, pretty good layout, some of the best finishing holes (only second to the Stadium Course in NE FL)

The course layout and conditions of the Tee Boxes and Greens were superb. The only thing that dampened course conditions was the winter weather. This course is challenging, but a fun time. I recommend trying it out if you have not!

The course was in great condition after a heavy week of rain. The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The island green was a lot of fun to play. The course layout is overall pretty good. I enjoy playing courses in good condition and Frisco Lakes was in good condition today.

The course was in great shape and set up for a challenging, fun round. The green speeds were excellent and bunkers had the perfect amount of sand. This was one of the better replica courses that exhibited beautiful scenery and fantastic recreations of the greatest holes in Scotland. The Tribute provided everything I look for in a good day of golf! I'm a student at the University of Florida, visiting my parents for the holidays. I will make sure The Tribute is a frequent destination when I come to visit in the future!

I'm a student at the University of Florida, visiting my parents for the holidays. Iron Horse was a great choice to golf as I try to discover the great courses in the DFW area. Iron horse has the best greens I've golfed on in the area.

Althought the Creek Course is the nicer of the two, the Lakes offers a challenge for all skill levels. I enjoyed the layout and my approaches had to be well-thought out and carefully calculated. Greens were also in good condition, probably rolling at about a 9.
