Buffalo Creek has been around a long time. Used to be a deal but like all courses prices have gone up. Conditions were ok. Several greens had substantial damage. I dont know if kids ran sport utilities around it or is the course cut squares for other places in need. Staff has always been nice, that hasnt changed. Seems to me it was better when the county ran it. I am not impressed with Pope Golf.

I reviewed Northdale a few weeks ago and nothing has changed. Although its almost 40 miles from home it is easily becoming my favorite course. Unlike most courses during the "season" Northdales rates are very reasonable. Course is in good shape. Greens and fairways are excellent. ALL Staff are so nice, polite, and friendly - all smiles. Specially Renee and Kailyn. Will be back.

I had seen past reviews of this course and they were not stellar. Times have changed. As with any course there is a bump or two but one could tell this course has been transformed. New ownership has done a great job. Greens were perfect, fairways were in great shape. The rough was the rough, but after all it is the rough ! Cost wise for the time of year it was on point. Only negative was the cart dying in front of the 18th green, well it almost made it. The jewel was staff. Every single person we encountered was smiling, pleasant, helpful, and a joy to deal with. Double check directions if you havent been there before, gps was acting up. In total great club that we will go back to often !!

a last resort course when nothing else is available

Been playing BHGC for years, never fails to satisfy. Some tough holes, some easy. Challenge yourself and play from the tips.

Course was in good shape, not overly busy for an 80* sunny, perfect Maine summer day. Short course, but tricky. Pay attention to signs or you may miss a hole or two. Some ground under repair, and some new cart paths being built but neither interfered. Well worth it for Hot Deals price. !! Alas, after 18 holes the bar and grill were closed for a wedding. Would have been nice to be able to relax a bit.

Seminole Lake CC is a very nice course, if you dont mind traipsing thru a myriad of condos and homes. A straight ball is needed here as every fairway has some sort of building along its side. the course was in excellent condition, very fast greens, rolled and true. Sand VERY soft and fluffy around the edges but hard pack toward the center of bunkers. As this is a private course ( mostly) there is no starter, per se. Members know who they are playing with and what time to go , and so they go ! As a non member, after hitting a small bag of balls and putting for a bit I still had 20 minutes or so to wait. Just sat at the first tee until my time. Another single came up and asked me my tee time, turns out he had the same one. Guess we were playing together. All in all it was a great day, wonderful course, and a great deal of fun, I would certainly play it again !!
