Oaks National Golf Club
Played On 09/19/2018Parkland course, good value for money
Excellent welcome from staff, clubhouse pleasant and provides locker room with shower, a comfortable lounge/cafe for refreshments, practice area as well as a small shop with merchandise. The course provides a reasonable challenge for intermediate golfers. It is parkland so don't expect pristine fairways and greens but you do need to consider where you play your shots as there are bunkers and water to catch the careless. Greens were surprisingly quick but have suffered in the heat
The recent weather has made wet area especially around some greens but buggies were allowed on all fairways up to 30yds from greens. You could not expect more for the price.
Oaks Course at Stonegate Golf Club
Played On 09/17/2018Alot of development going on
Locker rooms, restrooms and refreshment area all out use whilst improvements underway, this should have been flagged up before we booked. There had been rain the day before so we were on cart paths only but the conditions could have allowed 90 degree play. We would not have booked it we had known this. We were given coolers but there was little water on the course, absolutely vital on such a hot day, fortunately we had taken liquid and cool towels to help.
Fairways and greens a little fluffy. An interesting layout but far too long and wide fairways and too hot for cart path only.We drove a long way to play this course again but will think twice before going again.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide feedback about your experience. Your comments and feedback are extremely important to us. We appreciate your feedback on how we may improve and are hard at work attending to your grievances, and hope to receive the opportunity to impress you in the future.

Kings Ridge Golf Club - Kings Course
Played On 09/14/2018Very enjoyable
As an intermediate golfer I like my golf to provide a challenge without being too difficult. Kings Ridge Kings course certainly provides this. Very well presented with strategically placed, well prepared bunkers,, this parkland type course requires planned shots, Stay on the generally wide fairways and you are fine, but stray off and you can find shots a challenge. The greens were a bit fluffy and slower than I am used to but just provide another challenge.
On a very hot day we started at 10.20 and rarely saw anyone else. Staff were friendly and helpful, no GPS on buggies but the course was fairly easy to navigate. On course washrooms and plenty of water points, no refreshment cart. No locker rooms for after game freshen which on a hot day is a big disappointment (but the only one) Well worth a visit.
Highlands Reserve Golf Club
Played On 09/10/2018Exceptional in almost every way
Have not played Highlands Reserve for a couple of years but the improvement was a real surprise. It's not that it was poor before but the layout, preparation and overall playing experience was some of the best I have experienced in Florida. The fairways were beautifully cut, bunkers strategically placed (and superbly prepared) to create a challenge for more experienced players but also will enable all abilities to enjoy their game. There appeared to be slightly fewer trees although this may only a perception. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful..
The pro shop has a small amount of clothing, shoes and other golfing equipment all reasonably priced and
a variety of refreshments were available although food options were limited. . Plenty of buggies, but no GPS on board, and practice areas for those who wish to practice first. No locker rooms or showers for post game were only disappointment.
Delta Hotels by Marriott Tudor Park Country Club
Played On 05/16/2017A very enjoyable day at the course
From the moment we booked to the relaxing in the 19th we were well looked after and had a fabulous time. Plenty of parking and good signage. All the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful in the pro shop on the course, leisure area and Zest cafe/bar. Changing facilities very good. The course was in good condition and provided a challenge for intermediate golfers. There were some bad bounces but considering the lack of rain this year the course was looking and played pretty well. Greens were similarly good. Food and drink choice and quality must be commended. We would definitely recommend this course to golfers and will make the 150 mile round trip to lay again
Legends Golf & Country Club
Played On 03/09/2016Definitely one for the list
Our second time playing this course (last time in March 2015) and very pleased with the course condition. We have played 5 other courses in Orlando on this holiday and none were as good as the conditions we experienced at the Legends. Greens were fast and definitely a challenge and the fairways have been well maintained. Although their are homes around the course they do not impinge on the game (unless you are really wild!) Easy to get to from around Orlando being right on US27. Will definitely return next holiday
Kings Ridge Golf Club - Kings Course
Played On 03/02/2016Pleasure to play
Very easy to find as immediately off US27 12 miles north of 192.
This was the best condition of fairway and greens we have played this holiday (4th course). We played the yellow tees as reds were a bit short for us ladies. Although homes surround most of the course they did not impinge on play. Most fairways wide but strategically placed bunkers and trees made for a good challenge. Greens were fast and slope provided further difficulty. As a 2 ball our front 9 was played at a good pace but by the 10th we had caught up 4balls which h slowed play which was disappointing as we were waiting to start every hole. That said we would definitely play this course again.
MetroWest Golf Club
Played On 02/25/2016Previously better
Not played here for a year and conditions were disappointing for time of year, we have certainly had better on previous visits. Fairways seemed tatty and many greens were badly marked.Seemed fewer staff around to help you but those we met were great.
East at Grenelefe Golf & Tennis Resort
Played On 03/22/2015worth a visit
40mins from Orlando, signage near the course could be better. Booked East course but was sent out on South which I was told is slightly easier. Fairways good, sand in bunkers could be better. Ladies tees generally need improving. Greens true. Visually very good with plenty of variety, some housing in places, mostly not a problem. No proper changing facilities. Will return to play the East course
ChampionsGate Country Club
Played On 03/20/2015new course
Only opened 7weeks but course condition surprisingly good. Given time this will be a great course. But be prepared they have no car park or clubhouse at all yet and only porta loos which were very basic and not separated into mens and ladies. A buggy picks you up and returns you to your car
Some housing very close on back 9 that spoils an otherwise beautiful course. Pace of play will need to improve. A temporary clubhouse is due soon.
Grand Cypress - North/South
Played On 03/18/2015Definitely one to play
Really pleased with this course, set in a beautiful setting the course offers a variety of challenges depending on the tees used. Whole course well manicured, bunkers and some water strategically placed but not too many. Will definitely play again.
Hunter's Creek Golf Club
Played On 05/20/2014Well worth a visit to enjoy good golf
Greens and fairways were well kept,, some bunkers were a little hard but most good. Beautiful course winding through homes but do not effect play. Not a course for beginners as long distance for all tees. Water, bunkers and trees require careful club selection. Greens fast and not easy.
Cypresswood Golf & Country Club
Played On 05/18/2014Rural course but on community
You need to be precise or water/ trees can catch you.
They are trying to improve greens but large areas still poor.
Remington Golf Club
Played On 05/15/2014Surprisingly good given low cost to play
This is the kind of course that any average golfer would enjoy playing. Some challenges through well positioned water and bunkers which make you consider carefully your club selection. Some greens need a little improvement. Easy to find and close to Orlando attractions
Oaks Course at Stonegate Golf Club
Played On 05/13/2014Two courses, community based
Played Cypress course which is a good test for mid range handicappers. Plenty of water hazards and bunkers requiring careful club selection. Although on a community through homes do no detract or impede on the course.
Kissimmee Golf Club
Played On 05/02/2014Interesting layout
Although there had been a lot of rain before we played th course held well. We had to take a rain check after 9 holes but the course was even better when we returned. It is right next to Kissimmee airport and we enjoyed watching the displays and flights by vintage war planes. This did not detract from the golf. The back 8 is especially pretty. Plenty of wildlife also to enjoy. As it is so close to the attractions and excellent value for money it must surely warrant a game by all players. Plenty of challenges for all golfers.
Celebration Golf Club
Played On 9/10/2013A must play course
Really enjoyed the day. Try and get the golf and lunch package as excellent value. If not available certainly worth trying the Windmill restaurant for a hearty meal, but be prepared to wait a little for your meal.
Golf shop has range of products, even some for ladies
Mystic Dunes Golf Club
Played On 4/10/2013One to put on your list
Really great course but was spoilt a little by slow players and no ranger to deal with issue. Waiting on every hole is not fun. That said everything else about the course, including the food and service was excellent. They just need to deal with slow play, but don't let that put you off (unless you get stressed by slow play) as there is plenty of views to enjoy whilst you wait
We appreciate your honest review and recommendation! We truly appreciate it. We do hope that you will come back and play with us again soon.
