First time playing the Oxfordshire , £40 per person . Weather was freezing and ground was pretty soft. Greens were huge and undulating but not overly fast . Tee boxes were all off the yellows they were in good condition. Fairways were wet but very playable. Rough was tough but fair, plenty of water to play over and round. Course was full and we got round as a two ball in 3.5 hours and were let through by 2 4 ball groups. Everyone we met were very friendly and chatty .clubhouse was open but we did not go for a drink afterwards. Well worth the 90 mile drive to play !

For £20 a round you can’t really grumble at an 11am tee off. We played off the white tees and this makes this course a good challenge for any golfer. There are tight tree lined fairways and windy conditions to contend with and , plenty of scenery to be admired.
The greens were ok but suffered with a lot of unrepaired pitch marks. The course was busy and we as a two ball got round in 3 and half hours and were held up by an inexperienced 4 ball ahead who let us through after a few holes.
The driving range, putting green and chipping green allow for plenty of practice before you start your round. All in all well worth the money.

We played here last week for the first time any enjoyed it so much we came back.
It’s set in a beautiful part of the world with far reaching views in all directions.
A challenging course due to the slight windy conditions and undulating course . You have to plot your way round rather than blast your way round as there are lots of trees and slopes to catch you out. A few par 4s Play into the wind and are super hard to par.The greens are fantastic to putt on and are in great condition, probably the best we have played on all year. Staff were friendly and pace of play was good..definitely worth a round and the value for money cannot be beaten.
