1919 classic

Woodland hills started As Fort Scott County Club in 1919 with nine holes to clay based relatively flat small greens. An additional 9 holes were added in 1997 by architect Greg Todd. The course is a combination of zoisa and Bermuda fairways with bent greens. There are many mature trees affecting routing and elevation changes on about half of the holes. It is a short course but you will utilize the majority of your clubs. Best chance for birdies on 5, 8, 11, but it is better to not be long on any of them. In 2017 and 2018 the course conditions were the best of the past 35 years under new grounds crew. The course has great views from 14 green and a picturesque downhill wedge to 15. The patrons are very friendly , stop by and play!
