The Bridges at Tillsonburg
Played On 09/05/2016Long weekend
I have played here numerous times before and enjoyed it very much. This time however, it took almost 5 hours to finish 18 holes! I understand it's a long weekend, but I would think more reason to amp up your staff to make sure everyone is moving along at a steady pace. The greens were in rough shape as well and hopefully they get them back to life. Otherwise, a nice course at a good price.
Forest City National Golf Club
Played On 04/15/2016Dissappointed
Forest City National has been considered one of London's best non-private courses for a long time......long time ago unfortunately. It seems that for the past few years it has not improved at all, and lately seems to be getting worse. There are many other private courses that I can think of, and have played at for less money, with way better conditions and service. I will not get into all the details, but let's just say a premium course should have premium amenities and services. I don't think that asking for a public washroom to be unlocked, ball washers (even on every other hole) let alone any hole, and towels are asking for too much. We were told greens were fantastic, and they were after the 15th hole. Sand traps should were wet and trampled on....I guess tough to rake when there are no rakes in sight. Finally, cart path only once we paid and checked in,......not acceptable!....don't know if this is a Golf Now booking issue or course issue, but either way one of the two companies should have had a disclaimer because we would not have paid to play there if we had known prior.
