This is a classic Walter Travis designed course that has been updated and improved. The key feature of this course are the amazing greens ,they are small ,so a well controlled shot to the middle of the green is a key to a great opportunity for a birdie . The greens are always in great condition with subtle breaks to most putts. The course overlooks the Niagara escarpment with a view from the first and tenth tees that has many people stop on the roadside just to look at the beauty of the fruit orchards and the mist from Niagara Falls in the distance . Always a challenge Lookout Point has been home to some of the World’s Greatest Players, World Golf Hall Of Fame Member Marlene Stewart Streit was one of them .
A great course in a setting you cannot find anywhere in the world it is a treat to spend the day in all that this club has to offer. Great course .great people ,great food and it was great fun.

Taboo is located in Gravenhurst a very pretty town about 90 minutes north of Toronto. The resort has everything you would want .Beautiful setting, well appointed rooms , and wonderful food. The staff are there to help ,are warm and friendly. The golf course located just across the street was fantastic . Each hole was unique and challenging .The conditions were perfect but strategic play is a must ,bombing it was possible but not worth the risk. The greens are well protected but when you got on these greens putting speeds and slope were very fair. Practice facilities were very nice and next to the canteen between nine and ten is a fun par three shot . This is also a great place for a drink after your round and some fun side bets.
