Eagles Pride Golf Course - Blue/Green
Played On 05/02/2018Trees, water and terrain
Tree lined fairways with a number of challenging holes make this course a little harder when you play it for the first time. Local knowledge really helps with knowing where to hit a drive to set up a second shot. A couple of doglegs are particularly difficult if you hit down the wrong side of the fairway. Our only complaint was a crabby and silly course marshall who blustered to us about pace of play. We waited 5-7 minutes on each tee and were not able to move faster yet he acted like we waited too long to tee off. He was the only unpleasant thing we experienced that day.
Canyon Lakes Golf Course
Played On 05/06/2016Great course with some challenging holes
I played this course twice in three days on a golf vacation to Kennewick. I intended to play another course, but I enjoyed this one so much I came back a second day. Interesting layout with lots of variety and challenge. Sand traps are hard and not really what one calls "sand", but other than that is is a well-tended course with fast greens and fairways with lots of hills.
Elk Run Golf Club
Played On 04/30/2014Great day, good conditions
As one who shoots in the high 80's most of the time, I really enjoy this course. Interesting holes, some worthy challenges, but not so long or hard that a typical round gets frustrating. Conditions were good, although there are plenty of winter soft spots where you can get into mud, still. I'm anxious to play there again as it dries out.
Enumclaw Golf Course
Played On 04/15/2014Early in the year
It is an interesting course with unusual hole layouts in a few places. The winters are particularly hard on this course and some holes were in pretty bad shape with muddy fairways and grass that has not recovered from being underwater. The greens had been punched and sanded when we were there and were in poor shape. This course will improve as the weather dries out.
