Country Club of Winter Haven
Played On 10/03/2020Amazing Course!
This is a must play, if you ever get a chance to play this course, take the time, make the drive, apologize to spouse afterwards, and go play CC of Winter Haven! The greens were excellent, absolutely immaculate! Nick Flynn, the head superintendent, has done an outstanding job! It had recently rained so we were limited to cart paths and rough with the carts, but that's ok, didn't bother us a bit! Great views of Lake Hamilton with a very inviting atmosphere, thank you ladies in the golf shop and upstairs! GO.PLAY.CC OF WINTER HAVEN!!!!

The Good: the layout was def unique, challenging from any teebox, greens were in relatively good shape and the inside/outside staff and bev cart were very nice. Great deals in the golf shop, could not pass up on a FJ long sleeve for $40, unreal of a deal!
The Bad: tee boxes and fairways, next to no grass on the boxes and fairways were very full of crab grass
I would recommend this course!

Jerry was great, greens are in GREAT shape, course as a whole is AWESOME, it is a MUST play, I have seen providence in terrible shape in the past, and it is FAR from those days. Greens are quick, fairways lush, and if you haven't played here, you are missing out!
No grass on tee boxes and fairways...... fairways full of crab grass........ Yet you recommend this course? Ummmmmm yeah , I'm confused. I wouldn't play this goat pasture for free, let alone give them my hard earned money. It costs money to make money when you own a golf course. Sadly this owner doesn't get it.
