El Rio Golf Club
Played On 01/27/2016Rain out
We were rained out due to all the rain we had recently and the course conditions. The good thing is the staff contacted us first thing in the a.m. to reschedule our golf. I was very pleased that they contacted us, before we had to contact them. We.really like this course and the staff is always accommodating and friendly. We look forward to playing as soon as the sun comes back out...
Broken Arrow Golf Club - South/East
Played On 08/04/2015Great day of Golf...... But ?
The courses were in good condition. We played North & South. Heavy grass clippings on some of the fairways cost us a few balls which could have been avoided by cutting the grass a little more frequently. Overall the courses were in good condition. The only drawback was the ground superintendent had the fairways being watered during play which we had to call to have shut off so we could play and we had a very slow foursome in front of us which we had to call the proshop 2X to get a ranger out to move the play along. We were 4 deep when the ranger finally came and the play never eased up. They should have made the group move ahead a hole to resume normal play. The rangers need some work to keep it flowing or people will go elsewhere. There is no reason walkers should catch up. Over 5 hours for 18 is to long.

This is a favorite course of mine. It's always tough.
Laguna Seca Golf Club
Played On 09/12/2014Great course. Had a great round
We were on a road trip and golfed last minute. The golf now price made the round reasonable at 44 pp which was fair. Regular rounds are a little steep at 70 for my likening. We rented clubs which were 40 a set shock I also thought was a little high but they gave us Callaway X Hot2 so I can't complain as I am interested in buying them and I was able to get a feel for them so I happy the course was I great condition and challenging the only flaws I have about the course is they didn't have a beverage cart and we had a number of 2 some walkers who slowed play down. Being from Chicago out courses do not allow walkers during peak play as it slows down play to much. Some locals we played with agreed that the course should keep play moving by limiting walking folders at peak times. Other than that it was a great course and I would love to play it again and would recommend it to anyone.
Palmetto-Pine Country Club
Played On 02/10/2014A great course but a little slow
Golfed this course twice and hand a great time on both occasions. The starter was great and very informative. The only problem I had on both occasions was the pace of play . The course needs to keep the play moving . The course should not allow walkers, it's to long and slows the course down. It needs the course rangers to move along the play. The course is in great condition and the greens are fast. The course is challenging. I paid 19.50 at 4 pm and 40 at 2:30 and could have finished play if the pace was monitored. Overall use hot deals and push play as it will be worth while. I has a great to time
Palmer at Geneva National Golf Club
Played On 10/03/2013Great Course Loved it
We booked this on GolfNow for $32.00 PP which apparently is a great deal. After golfing the course I feel it was. The course was challenging and in great condition. The only drawback we found was no GPS in the carts. Other than that it was a great time and I WILL definetly come back.
Old Oak Country Club
Played On 08/09/2013Always a Great Course. Fun & Tough for the Golfball Donator
This course is very well maintained. The ground crews do a fantastic job and stay out of the golfers way. This course keeps improving itself constantly. If you watch the Golf Now prices you can golf at a reasonable rate, but given the economy it's a bit pricey, although it is well worth the price. All the carts have GPS to the pin location which is nice. The only drawback is a stupid $5.00 cart key deposit? I would guess it's so the counter guys can make a few extra bucks. Other than that you will have a hard time finding a better place to golf in this area. GolfNow price $36.00. Reg. $56.00.
Nettle Creek
Played On 04/29/2013Blah blah blah
The overall course was fine. I personally would not make the drive to go back and the other golfers in my party said the same. It just didn't appeal to us. The food is aweful
Red at Gleneagles Country Club
Played On 04/15/2013Good Local Course at Best
I play these 2 courses alot. They are O.K. courses with nothing special. The maintanance people are constantly in the way of golf play and the GC Staff doesn't seem concerned about rectifying those complaints. This is not a $50 + course. It costs $28.00 for the Sr. rate all year long. Like I said, its a good course to play at those rates. There are much better courses within 1 or 2 miles if your going to pay more.
Hi Poppz,
We are so glad you played a round with us over the weekend. We are happy to hear you thought the course was in good condition. We are very sorry about the pace of play that day. Please reach out to me directly to discuss further. maryteetimes@yahoo.com
