A little disappointed at the facilities here No driving range. Putting green was half closed due to ground under repair. And no chipping? Course was interesting, in ok shape. A few greens diseased. 2and 4 Tee boxes and fairways were in great shape. Pace of play was great!! Members I came in contact with weren’t very friendly. Maybe a language thing. Overall was just ok.

A really nice parkland style course. 11 downhill dog leg right over a pond is remarkable!! Staff, captain all helpful and friendly. Practice range is small and cramped but only complaint here. A must play

A spectacular course, facilities and staff!! Unbelievable holes. 2, 6 , 9 and 18. This was an amazing experience from minute you walk on property. Course was in major championship form. Can’t say enough about this world class club

Really fun , interesting course. Conditions were great and weather perfect!! Golf course was amazing but the members and the clubhouse back porch was the stars. This course is a hidden gem, if in St Andrews area this is a must play!!

Very windy day but dry. All staff was helpful including caddy. Definitely recommend a caddy. Golf course was in fantastic shape, greens were slowish but certainly playable. Highly recommend

Kingsbarns is a first class facility and golf course. Staff , starters, bag handlers are all helpful and professional. Be prepared for an awesome goodie bag on first tee. Conditions were perfect. Greens slowish but very puttable Highly recommended.

Course is in decent shape considering the time of year. If your looking for a 9 hole practice course this is your choice.

Blackhorse is one of the premier public play courses in Houston. It’s a don’t miss.

Played Houston National a few times previously and again it didn’t disappoint. Staff, conditions and lunch after was great. Highly recommend this course

This was my 2nd time here. I’d been here years ago and wasn’t pleased with course conditions. On this trip I thought I’d give it another try. Conditions were a bit better but overall it was disappointing. Otter side is a rather mundane 9 holes but standing water in traps made them unplayable. Muddy fairways and beat up tee boxes. Greens were ok. The fox side has some really neat holes. Not as much mud but bunkers still unplayable. I’ve done it twice so I’m all set. On positive note staff is very friendly

Whispering pines is a good course to get your trip going. Conditions good, greens good. Not many interesting holes but it was a great day to play so it made it fun. The staff is amazing. Bill in the bag drop area is a great representative of the course. Friendly, helpful and fun to talk to. Enjoyed overall experience

Few rough spots on fairway and tee boxes. Overall a fun day. Staff is super accommodating

This course was a great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful, carts clean and ready to go. Course is spectacular. Get a birdie on 1 because it’s an easy way to start the round. Green on 14 is a roller coaster. Course is in 5 star shape. Don’t miss this gem.

I can’t give a full review of the course due to picking up ball on 8. After a few days of rain this course should have been closed. Bunkers under water , could not find a dry spot in the fairway. I’d like to try it again when dry because layout was neat

2nd time playing here and was still blown away by the views, conditions and staff. From moment you arrive you are treated as a member. Keep up the great job. Highly recommend

Spectacular mountain course with some really great holes. #8, 9 , 16 and 17 are memorable holes. Greens are flawless, couple bare spots in the fairways but can be expected with hot sun and drought conditions. Jim the ranger is a super cool guy. Stopped to talk and greet me. He’s an asset to this club. Can’t wait to get back
