Let me begin by saying I’ve played here before... but it never gets old!! Course has unique memorable holes. #1 is an ordinary hole but after that WOW!! #8, 13 , 16 are picture perfect. Course conditions are always great. Greens, fairways and boxes are all clean well maintained. This is a course that you’ll be trying to get back to ASAP.

Wow!! Really great old school New England golf at its finest It’s an upscale private club so lounge, driving range and locker room are off limits so I can’t comment on off course amenities. Golf course plays short at 6156 yards from the back tees First 7 holes plays on side of street where clubhouse is. #3 a par 5 played a little longer than on card as the fairway is damp. #6 is a strong long par 5 that plays slight dogleg right where a long drive is required to play this hole. #7 is a short par 4 that’s very picturesque. After 7 the golf course picks up on other side of a street, this is by far the best section of the course. #9,10,12, 14 are really great memorable holes. Some play downhill to fairways that are protected by bunkers and high fescue grass. If your ball finds the fescue it’s a tough job to find it. When the course picks back across the street again at 15 is a great dogleg left around a pond. Not a lot of water hazards on Agawam but there’s plenty of trouble spots if you don’t play well. This was a bucket list course that lived up to my anticipation. Never mind the off course amenities go for the course. You won’t be disappointed

Been a couple years since we played here and I don’t know why. Course is in awesome shape, some cart path improvements are going on. Tee boxes and greens are spotless. Actually went in after the round and booked for next week. The attention to details here is on point.

Always a pleasure to travel south and play GVCC. Course was in fantastic shape. Greens were spotless and run off areas were mowed tight and in great shape. Bunkers could use more sand but definitely playable. Bring your driver and long irons as this course plays long. Highly recommend!!

This course is a fun, fantastic course and facility overall. Conditions was great. I was first one out at 730 am on a clear warm day, so pace was on my own. Two holes that a test and definitely memorable are #12 a par 5 that tee shot plays over a pond to a double fairway. Slight dogleg left to a smallish green. Actually hit 3 perfect shots to birdie this hole!! #15 is a well guarded par three with bunkers surrounding the green Day I played hole was cut on left side of green, I used a 9 iron that landed and rolled to 4 inches for another birdie!! Big thank you to Willy the security guard who unlocked the gates and gave me a lift to clubhouse as I was early to facility. He even helped me get out on time as staff was running late. Highly recommend this course!!

I had the pleasure of playing Howth on a perfect Ireland weather day. It made the day even better. But the star of the Day was the course. Great conditions, wonderful views and memorable holes. Course was in spectacular shape , tee boxes , fairways and greens are lush and maintained. Two of my personal holes are #5 and #18. 5 is a short part 4 dogleg left that plays up a steep hill to the green. The members actually call it “ cardiac hill”. #18 is a high point of the course playing down to a hogback fairway. Clubhouse is on the left of fairway/ green where there is usually people hanging around after playing or waiting to go out. Green plays into view of Dublin bay. My favorite hole!! 3 staff members to acknowledge here. The starter, whose name I didn’t get, was a gentleman who walked me to first hole while giving me tips and thoughts on how to play the course. Actually said if he wasn’t busy with a junior tournament he’d have gone out with me for a game. Simon the club manager made a point to visit with me before round and make me feet welcome. Alan, club pro, visited with me after the round. Made sure I had a taxi to get me back to Dublin. All great representatives of this gem. And the members are more than happy to chat with you about their course after the round over a pint. Will definitely include Howth on my next trip to Dublin or Ireland in my itinerary.

Had a great time on a fun challenging course. Course conditions were good considering the 3” of rain night before. Bunkers were under water so with Time they’ll be back. Staff, clubhouse and snack bar all were excellent. Course has some fun holes. #2. And 18 are great strong par 5s. Will definitely play again when in area.

This course needs TLC. Good layout but dry and thin fairways. Bunkers are hard and unplayable.

I enjoyed Rolling Oaks better than Pane Barrens. Lush green fairways, perfect Greens to putt and bunkers spot on. Nice mixture of long and short holes, everything right in front of you. #8 a par 3 is a fantastic photogenic hole. Loved the course!!

We played both courses at World Woods. Pine Barrens was definitely a unique golf experience. The east areas and oak trees are magnificent. Some really memorable holes here. #6,9,15 and 18. All fantastic holes. Course conditions were perfect in all areas. Staff was nice. Pro shop and snack bar small but it does its job. Practice facility is world class. 22 acres of practice. Iron range. Huge putting range and 3 practice holes to fine tune your game. It’s a ride to get to to but well worth it. Do it at least once.

Very long tough course. Pick your tee carefully. Course conditions are great, greens are good. Bunkers are perfect. Staff is very friendly. Thanks to Sal for getting us out early. Lots of water and long carries here. Good luck on #-15 and 18.

We really enjoyed our round here!! Tom was so friendly and professional in the pro shop. Small practice area with a bunker. Course is in fantastic shape. The fairways are lush and green. Bunkers are in great shape. Greens are very receptive and fairly fast but very true. Front 9 is in wooded area with tight fairways. #5 will really test your driver to get it fit in there. We have played 5 courses on this Trip Lansbrook is the best so far!! It’ll be on my list next time here

One of my favorite layouts I play. #3, 17 and 11 are challenging fun holes. Lots of gators on this course so if ball hits water let it go. My only complaint is the fairways are very dry. Lots of hard bare spots. It’s early in the year so this shouldn’t be an issue. Greens are fine. Will always return to play here when in area

Jumped over to Westchase from airport so the locker room amenities was fantastic to have to get changed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks to Bill for helping us with our bags. Golf course was in ok shape. Some fairways and tee boxes a bit dry. But definitely playable. Greens were a little hard , it was a hot sunny day, but putted fine. Course is certainly Florida golf. Lots of water and waste areas. # 8, and 10 are strong holes. My favorite by far is #13!! Long fantastic hole over a small pond to a big fairway. I recommend Westchase and I’ll certainly play again.

Green Valley Country Club has always been one of my favorites. Today’s round was right on point. We had to wait until after a shotgun tournament. Which gave us time to enjoy a cold beer in the clubhouse where we had great pleasant service. Guys in pro shop super friendly and helpful. Buster the starter sent us out right on time on #10. We found the course in great shape with a few dry spots due to dry summer conditions. Greens are fast and firm. Course is long Bring your driver. I highly recommend Green Valley!! Thanks to my friend Joe O!!

Fantastic links course close to Dublin center. Staff was friendly and helpful. Course was dry but that has to be expected due to drought conditions. Middle of course 12, 13 14 and 15 are wonderful holes. Not a fan of 18. But overall a spectacular place.

Never miss playing here when in Houston. Definitely a great public golf course with a private feel.
