Fun round

My 6-year-old son and I had fun playing this course. Liked the layout. Nice greens and tee boxes. The rest was a little poor but maybe just because of the time of year. Staff was very friendly. Nice carts. Got a good deal on golfnow.com. Clubhouse is just a trailer and only snacks available. Nice driving range. There were a lot of people on the course. Would have liked to play a little faster. Will return again when in the area.

Fun Course

Fun course to play. Lots of elevation changes. Nice views. Course was in just okay shape. Greens seemed bumpy to me. Thought the price for me was reasonable, but they charged my 10-year-old son the same rate as me. Good distances for different player levels. Driving range looked pathetic as you just hit right into a hill. The clubhouse guy was very unfriendly.

Thank you for coming out and playing at our facility. We apologize for the unfriendliness in the clubhouse and will look into that further.

We have also decided to lower our junior rate during the week to accommodate our next generation of golfers a little better for the future.

Thank you for your comments and review. We do hope that we will see you back here again.

Great Course

We have played a lot of the courses in the Mesquite/St. George area. We decided to play Conestoga for the first time because we saw a deal with the Dixie Direct Card. 18 holes w/ cart & lunch for only $39. This is now one of my favorite courses in the area. The course was in great condition, which doesn't happen with all courses in the area during the summer. The course is fun & challenging. We had my 17-year-old niece and 9-year-old son with us & the course was a perfect length for them from the front tees. Course knowledge helps as some of the shots on the front are blind or risky. Lunch after the round was really good at the restaurant. We will be back.

Had a good time

We saw a great deal on GolfNow so decided to make our way out to this course. My 9-year-old son and I had a great time. There was hardly anyone on the course during the afternoon so the pace was great. We ran into a little bit of wind and haze/fog that made it play more difficult. The guy in the pro shop wasn't helpful and didn't seem to want to spend another second with us. We were hoping to get some food there but the snack shop near the range was closed the whole time and the grill was closed by the time we finished nine. We were extremely hungry by the end of our round. The lady at the bar got us a soda and was extremely friendly and helpful. The course is set down in a valley and mostly flat but there is a little elevation change to it. The course was a little far from where we were staying but worth the drive.

Fun

This course is a fun one. Nothing too spectacular. We played it because we were staying near Disneyland and wanted to get an early round in. The course is near a large park and city streets, so there was a lot going on around us. The course is all par 3s and 4s. Good variety of distances, at least for the par 3s. I think I used every iron in my bag. Don't really need your driver. We were one of the first groups out in the morning so the pace was awesome. The guy in the pro shop was very friendly.

Enjoyable Experience

Our group had a great time playing this course. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The course is great for all levels. Given the time of year, the course was in good shape. Loved the deep bunkers and was glad I only got in one of them as some of the others in my group had a hard time getting out. The bunkers add character to the course but could use some more sand. The photos I have seen of the course make it appear isolated, but every hole is surrounded by homes. Loved the GPS units. We got a good deal by booking through GolfNow. I wouldn't pay the going rate for the course. Will definitely play again.

Fun course

This course is a fun layout with lots of elevation change and views of the Las Vegas valley. I was hoping for it to be in better condition. I didn't like the dormant rough and in spots it was really worn out. Some of the greens had large holes on them. The course is a lot tighter than I'm used to and I couldn't hit my driver straight, so I struggled. It's not really a long course, so if you can hit it straight you're in good shape. A lot of the holes have mounds on each side to keep your ball in or close to the fairway. I brought my 8-year-old son and the front tees were great for him (nothing extremely long for him to carry) and he was free. Everyone we encountered at the course was very friendly. Enjoyed the free bottled water.
