East at Grenelefe Golf & Tennis Resort
Played On 05/18/2019Great Course for the Money
Grenelefe is a great course layout and the greens are in some of the best shape in the area.
A bit frustrating to book an 8:20 tee time and then they send a scramble out on every hole at 8:30. The group was super nice and let us play thru so not a big deal.
This course was definitely phenomenal back in its day but hitting from the rough or the bunkers is kind of a disaster. The rough is all weeds and the bunkers are mainly dirt. The tee boxes could be better grass as they are weeds as well and sometimes makes it difficult to find a good spot to tee off. Overall for the price, I love this course and if you keep it in the fairways it’s a great play.

I absolutely loved this course. I will definitely be returning to play the east sometime soon. You can’t beat what you get for the money in comparison to other courses in the area. It’s definitely a bit run down but you can tell they have made a lot of strides to improve a 30 year old course that was neglected for over a decade. Some greens had really bad patches but nothing bad enough where I thought my game was effected. Pace of play was fine, I had to skip hole 10 to get around a foursome that was taking like 20 minutes a hole.

The course is a short nine hole course. Fun to play and definitely worth the money, especially with the Rice’s of courses in the central Florida area. The par 4’s are barely 275. The tee boxes fairways and greens are in decent shape but the houses are really really close to the course. Lots of water that makes it challenging for your short iron game.and the staff was great. I did not like how close these houses were in this course and will not be playing here again.
