I play here all the time, at least three times a month. There are many things that are wrong with this place. First of all, there is never ice or water in the cooler by the putting green! Dont hold your breath if you are on the course... i dont get it, wether i play morning or afternoon, there is never water nor ice in there! Also all of the ball wash around the course are as dry as the Mojave desert! The carts never have sand to replace your divots and i quote, “because we have someone who replaces them in the morning”.... right....! There is never a starter and never ever a ranger! Pace of play is ridiculous! By ridiculous i mean 5.5 hours for 18 and skipping a few holes to het around foursomes... i wasnt playing alone, i was in a threesome! Another quote, “we cant do anything about pace of play”.... well that explains not having a ranger or a starter! Also the range, rarely does it have balls in the machine, you pay your six bucks for a bucket, and there aren’t any balls in there, you have to go back to the clubhouse to tell them and wait for billy to go retrieve the balls! I mean it’s crazy, i can keep om going but why, the only reason i play here its because its location and hot deals... never will i pay full price for this .....

Ranger staff? Never seen a ranger pass the first tee box... The starter does a great job, excellent in my opinion... I never seen any Ranger on the course speeding up players on an Easter egg hunt on every hole.

Thank you for your review of Shula's Golf Club. We are glad that you enjoyed the pace of the greens. The pace of play was a bit slow in the afternoons during the holidays. The pace is much better if you play earlier in the day. We will keep re-training our ranger staff to improve pace of play. We hope to see you soon.

If you want to play 18 in 5.5 hours by all means you’re this is the place to be!!! I have never complained about pace of play but this was unbelievable... they had a “starter” that was useless... Price was great, greens were great... Tee boxes were hideous! Fairways were fair!

Thank you for your review of Shula's Golf Club. We are sorry to hear that your pace of play was that slow. We were receiving reports from golfers who started after 12pm. that is was taking 4.5 hours to complete 18 holes. We had ranger staff on the course to assist in pace of play. We will revisit pace of play guidelines with our ranger/starter staff so that this doesn't happen again. Golfers have been able to complete their round in 4 hours when starting earlier in the day. We are scheduled to apply our first winter fertilizer application this week, which should help the tee boxes. We hope to see you again in the near future.

Great Course, it is wide open so you dont lose many balls !!! Greens are in fair conditions, and fairways are in good shape. Tee box need improvements, although from blue tees are good. Will definitely come back.

Great course, outstanding pace of play, five star maintenance, greens are spectacular, fairway are the best i have played so far, sull be back!!!

Really friendly staff here, always welcoming and happy to see you... The golf course is not difficult but challenging. Great golf and lovely people.... Will go back as many times as i can...

Really difficult course. But overall a really nice golf course, GPS in Golf Carts was very nice. Most fringe around every hole are completely dead and they had a couple of fairways in horrible condition. Still would recommend.

Thank you for your review of Shula's Golf Club. I'm sorry to hear that you did not have an enjoyable experience this past Saturday. We have recently hired new outside staff members. We will continue to re-train them on how to properly prepare amenities such as the water/ice cooler and sand buckets on the carts. Ball washers are checked and filled every Friday by the golf course maintenance staff. There could be a washer that has a leak. We will check all washers to find out. Starters are scheduled 7 days a week from 6am-2pm. Rangers are scheduled 5 days a week at various times depending on how busy the course is. On weekends, the PM ranger will act as the starter until play slows down. This past Saturday our afternoon Ranger was not able to come in. The morning Ranger was on duty til 2:30pm. Groups were playing in 4 hours or less by 10am. Later groups were playing in 4.5 hours.
We will continue to work with our afternoon staff to make sure that the range machine stays full with balls. We have many repeat guests who enjoy their experience with us. I hope that this was an isolated incident for you and that you have a much better experience during your next round with us.
