Love this crazy little course! It makes me a better golfer and the greens are pristine!
It’s not your average course, and it will eat you alive if you aren’t on your game.

I have played this course many times over the years and generally it is lovely. The day before we played PGA West TPC Stadium course and it was pristine. This is why I am confused as to the condition of this course. I was not impressed this time on many levels. This is the first time I have felt this way here.

WHAT A BEAST!!!! This course was amazing!!! A bucket list course to be sure!!!! The staff was beyond the realm of amazing from the moment we stepped into the pro shop, until we left the 19th hole....where BTW the starter Jerry bought me a birthday drink without ever even leaving the starter's podium. A virgin bloody mary with a strip of bacon & blue cheese stuffed olives...makes me misty just thinking about it!
I really don't have the words to describe how tough this course is. I would like to shake Pete Dye's hand....WOW!!!!! Pristine is a complete understatement!!!! JUST MAKE ARRANGEMENTS AND PLAY THIS COURSE!!!!

This is a great course. Love the way it is maintained. We got really lucky & went out right after back to back shotguns. We didn't hit the group in front of us until hole 16. Never saw a group behind us the entire time. AMAZING!!!
The food is good & the staff is great!

Love the Staff! Love the course & play it several times a week or more late afternoon. Very reasonably priced, & I must say that I have never had the General Manager come out and introduce himself while we were on the course. He let us know that we were appreciated. Something very special to be sure!

I clicked on a tee time for noon that was $5.00 off the regular price. Nothing strange about that. When we got to the course we find out it is for the back nine...AT NOON ON A HOLIDAY MONDAY??? What The Heck??? American Golf at it's finest...of course they charged us full price. I ask you...who shoves groups in the back nine in the middle of the afternoon and breaks up pace of play like that???/ Answer: American Golf

Super friendly staff!
This is a great place for date night golf starting at 4:00 3 or 4 times a week.

We set out to enjoy our 50th round pre paid golf now greens fees at this course. I got confirmation from Golf Now and put the confirmation in my phone. I did not print it out as I have never had a problem before. We showed up with our Pastor & a business associate of my husbands and Oak Creek had not input the confirmation correctly. The man that waited on me almost had me in tears demanding that my confirmation number meant nothing and continued demanding that we owed $135.00 green fees. I have never been so embarrassed in my life!
After having to call golf now twice because the person on the other end couldn't seem to get my email address right I finally contacted someone that knew what they were doing & thanks to Brian at the course who took over checking us in, we got it figured out. Brian offered an apology and off we went for our free foursome.
That other man needs to work on his people skills & Oak Creek needs to reevaluate the type of customer friendly staff needed to check people in at such a high end course.
That was the third time we have played that facility.
Loved the course, but we will NEVER be back!

The greens were spongey and I don't think were ever rolled. There were 4 groups waiting at each tee box. 9 hole course took 3 hours+. Cart's not included in GolfNow price but that was not listed either way.
I must have been adopted....The staff was really nice!

Pace of play was slower that I have recently encountered, but the course was decent and the staff was very friendly and attentive! I would play there again.

This is a challenging course. Well kept and nice & long. Pace of play was great for a Sunday afternoon. Terrific staff and beautiful mountain views. I am playing it again tomorrow.

Lovely course......Just wish there were 18 holes of this amazing course...Staff was terrific!

This is not a course that I would have played had it not been for Golfnow.com. The price was amazing for what this course has to offer. It is everything and more! Even in the dead of Southern California's winter, the grass is only mildly dormant and the greens are perhaps the most challenging I have encountered. Breath taking views with the signature hole right on the beach. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Pace of play made us feel like we were the only group on the course. Not something that generally happens in these parts.

For an inexpensive municipal course it works fine. Pace of play is good & the greens are decent. Fairways are in need of water, but it is a very mature course. The staff is very friendly.

The staff here is terrific! The overall course is well kept for and executive course. Our family enjoys Sunday afternoons here with our daughters. Very reasonable!
