Royal Stouffville Golf Course
Played On 07/19/2023Value for Money
This is one of the many courses in the Stouffville and Pickering area. Just like other public courses, the tee boxes and fairways are over-used, leaving many divots behind. Having said that they are still well maintained. The greens are okay. Given its reasonable price, it is a good course for a morning or afternoon workout.
One thing that needs improvement is the pace of play. Marshalls should show up more oftern.
Remington Parkview Golf and Country Club - Upper
Played On 03/24/2021Excellent condition in early Spring
Course condition is excellent given that it's just after Winter. Greens are well maintained.
Pickering Glen Golf Club
Played On 10/28/2019End of Season
The course is fairly easy, though the fall leaves are everywhere. Balls are lost for no reason at all. It would be more fun to play in the summer. Played with three nice and funny guys that lightened up the game.
Pheasant Run Golf Club - Highlands
Played On 10/21/2019Beautiful Fall Colors
Played the Upland and Midland courses with a friend. The twosome before us were extremely slow, sometimes playing two or three balls, jamming the entire course. Fortunately the beautiful fall colors were everywhere. All tee box waiting has become photo opportunity.
Shawneeki Golf Club

Shawneeki is always my favorite public course in GTA. The staff are always friendly, and maintenance people are everywhere to keep the course at best condition.

Well maintained course with a nice and challenging layout. The green may need some work but overall well worth the money and long trip from Toronto.

Played On 09/14/2017Nice Course near New Market
It is a well-maintained course with interesting layouts. Staff are working hard to keep the fairways and greens perfect. First-cut roughs are kept like first-cut roughs. There is also renovation work near hole 4.
The pace was a bit slow. After we skipped 3 holes to move ahead of the two groups of 4, we could play at the pace we wanted.
Thank you for the review Mr Chui. We agree with you as do others with our course recently being awarded 5th best in Scoregolf magazines 2019 value rankings!
