The idea that an 18-hole course exists in Woodland Park is pretty amazing, much appreciated. That said, how hard can it be run the place like an actual business instead of an unorganized startup? The cart paths are 'fun' because of the possibility of crashing a cart into one of the 3-foot deep ravines from rain wash. Some run-off mitigation would save the cart paths from further damage, and carts from becoming tired and abused. The black mold on the greens has begun to subside. How did it get a foothold in the first place (neglect)? At peak it was pretty disgusting and makes one wonder if they are bringing the stuff home. The course is fully bring-your-own beer (BYOB). The beer cart is atrociously unreliable and the rear axle appears about to fall off. Last time the driver was MIA and seen with the cart in the bushes (boyfriend? pot? sleeping?). This time, the drivers minor child was on board while the back 9 only was covered. By the time we made it to the back 9 the beer cart was parked back at the clubhouse. Finally, accepting feedback isn't an art form, there's a right way and wrong way. The right way: pay attention, grab a pen and paper and start writing. Repeat back a summary of what you heard from your notes. ASK what the customer's expectation is of the affected service. Indicate your notes will be delivered to the right person. Follow up! When someone complains to you they will definitely complain to their friends!
We're very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your round with us. We will pass along your detailed feedback to our management staff to take into consideration.
