It was a hot day and they squeezed way too many tee times in... there was a wait on each hole...

One guy ahead of us complained about having tee times too close to each other (and yes he was a bit rude but his point was valid) for instance we had a 11:10 tee time and their were groups 11:00 and 11:05. The staff didn't think this was a problem...

Only one thing is clear... it's all about the money and they could not care less if the golfers have a good experience.

Having to play a 5+ hour round on a super hot day is just not fun... should be able to play this course within 4 hours.

Greens were fast but rolled true.
A good mix of challenging and straightforward holes.
Only minor complaint was pace of play but it was a beautiful spring day and a lot of people were out on the course...

Figured I'd give the place a shot for $39 w/ cart on a weekend morning. I can see why it costs so little. From tee boxes, to fairways and greens, this place needs a complete makeover.
Took 4 hours and 40 minutes to play a relatively short course; waiting on every tee box.
Honestly, I'd rather pay 20 or 30 more dollars and play elsewhere.
On the plus side, the people who work there seem nice and friendly.

I have booked as a single twice and both times, I didn't tee off as planned.
First time, I showed up 10 minutes before my tee time and was told the group I was playing with is on the 1st green. So, they had to squeeze me in at a later tee time.

This time, I show up and they tell me the group is part of a tournament and so I cannot play with them. Again, I had to wait to tee off.

The staff was friendly in explaining the case each time. I'm not sure if this is because I booked via GolfNow, but perhaps they should just block out the times if they cannot be fulfilled.

Otherwise, the course was in decent shape. The pace of play was terrible. I noticed that last time too, but that seems to be a problem at most places on the weekend these days.

Very nice course in great condition. Look forward to playing there again

Started at 2.20. Finished at 7.30. Way too long for a round of golf.

Slow play ahead of us. Need rangers to keep players to a good pace.

Perhaps it's just too early in the year. Looked like they had aerated recently and the greens were not in great shape.

The tee boxes are not in great shape either - but they've never been at Water Gap.

I only played here because I got the GolfNow deal... I would definitely not pay $40 to play this course right now... maybe in a couple of months.

Course played fair (I played the blue tees)
Greens were aerated but for the most part didn't affect play.
