Disney's Palm Golf Course
Played On 05/06/2023Decent
It was a fun track and the staff are very kind and attentive as this was my first time there. Course conditions were mediocre but (as others have mentioned) Florida has not had enough rainfall the past few months. I would like to play it again once the conditions are slightly better. I was paired with a Disney employee, who mentioned that she pays $18 to play the course; so, do with that information as you will. I’ll be back!

Course is in decent shape. Greens are fast, small and hard. It is close to home and for $25 it's a good value.

The course is in fair shape. Not the greatest but not the worst. The layout can be a bit gaff. Meaning, there are some holes that are far-too-narrow, which aren't very fun to play at all. Overall, I would play it again if I didn't have to pay full price. It's fine if you are able to find a Hot Deal etc. Certain staff members lack people skills. I give it a 3 out of 5 rating.

The course has potential, but it may not mature, within my lifetime. Terrific staff. I cannot speak to the quality of the restaurant (did not eat there). Overall,
I would say that it's a good place to try.
I prefer Edinburgh for the price/golfing experience, however.
RedTail Golf Club
Played On 08/01/2018Fun place to play
Pace of play was fair, until we got to the 13th hole. Had a 2some ahead of us that were not very good players and hitting 3 balls apiece, for almost every shot. My first time playing this course, I shot a 76. Today, I didn't play as well but always enjoy the layout here at Redtail. Staff is always friendly and accomodating. Someone usually comes out, before and after the round, to help you with your cart and bag. I would recommend playing here and hope to be back, when in Florida.
The Jewel Golf Club
Played On 07/30/2015Not bad
It was a pretty wide open course, I feel. Some tight Tee shots, but if a guy can keep from spraying the ball 20 yards in either direction...you'd do well here. I shot +1 72 my first time here.
I guess I was hoping for a more challenging layout than what it is, etc. #8 was a tough green to hit. I had 160 for my approach and had to try and hit a green that is as small as a table top.
Hi there, thank you so much for taking the time to review The Jewel Golf Club. It sounds as though you're a pretty savvy golfer we'll give you the benefit of the doubt - that's an awesome score your first time around the course! Come back and master that 8th hole we can't wait to see you at The Jewel!
The Summit Golf Club
Played On 8/30/2013A very unique and odd experience with the grounds crew.
So we get to the 3rd hole and a grounds crew worker stands between my 110 yd. approach and the hole, staring at us and refusing to move. I look at my playing partner and then back at the maintenance worker, but he refuses to move. A male in his, what I would guess to be in his late 40's/early 50's makes a comment "you can hit it over my head". Afraid of blading the ball off of my tight lie and injuring the worker, I pull the ball to the left of the green. If I had paid more than the great deal Golfnow.com provided I would have been more upset than I already was. Is this the standard at The Summit??? Moving on, the course is in good condition. There were quite a few pitch marks left unfixed, which is a shame because I felt the greens were well maintained. As previous reviews had mentioned, the back 9 is very challenging. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice course at an affordable price.
Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back at The Country Club of Mount Dora!
