Even if you’re a leisurely golfer, I would look elsewhere to play. This course is in terrible shape. It appears to have been a nice course at one time but it’s obviously not being taken care of now. Tee box footing is poor, greens are in terrible condition and the cart paths have some dangerous drop offs where, if you’re not paying attention, you can cause some serious damage to the cart and/or your person. If you decide to ignore this review and play anyway, I’d recommend practicing in a cow pasture first. Throw down some old shag rugs from the 70s to practice your putting. Then, enjoy your $60 putt putt and go cart adventure (PS...not even worth the $30 hot deal...just sayin’).

Pros: Carts have GPS. Great layout. Not crowded.
Cons: Easy to lose ball in the rough. A little pricey. Sand traps could use a makeover.
All in all: If you’ve never played Bent Creek, it’s worth a try. You’ll pay around $40-45 during peak season but it’s still one of the better public courses in the area.
