My wife and I played this course two days in a row. Really enjoyed ourselves. It is a very nice layout with a lot of variety. Not much elevation change but that's to be expected on a "beach" course. All of the staff that we met were very pleasant and helpful. We will certainly play here again the next time we come to the beach.

Only criticism would be that it seemed front 9 greens hadn't been mowed in a day or two. Appeared fuzzy and were slower than back 9. We played early so of course back 9 dried out but entire 3some agreed front was fuzzy. Otherwise we had a great time. Anxious to play here again.

Really had a good. Friendly, efficient staff. Only negative is a timing issue on my part. Fairways were recently over seeded, watered heavily and not mowed so they were a bit long. That will change so go play here and have fun.

My wife and I paired up with a couple of guys from Texas. Really fun. Course maintenance was top notch. For first timers it was easy to move from green to tee. Fairways were perfect, couldn't comment on rough, I was never there. Wife lived there!
Just kidding, she beat me 2 and 1, rough was what it should be, a challenge. Greens were fast. Be prepared to really think about a putt. Learned a lot on those greens and thankful for it.

We play Potomac Shores every time we are in the area visiting family. The staff are friendly and the starters we have met have been terrific. The course layout is challenging but not extremely tough. If we lived in the area, this would be the course we would join.

The course was challenging and fun! Great course and staff, we couldn’t have asked for more.
We ate at the grill afterwards and it was delicious. Hope to play again when we are passing through.

My wife and I played the Rancho & Anza courses and had a great time. We were paired with another couple who are regulars at Tubac and their advice on how to play certain holes was invaluable. The course was in great shape and presented a fun challenge. We'll be back as often as possible considering we live in North Carolina.

My wife and I really enjoyed our second round here, first was April 2015. Yes a few of the greens showed some signs of damage but it was minimal. No one should shy away from this fun, challenging course that has excellent practice facilities and a great 19th hole. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Can't wait to visit Green Valley again next year.

The course was in great shape thanks to the tons of rain we've had lately. It would be nice if the staff put some water in the ball washers. I was playing with my wife and a couple of the tee boxes on par 5s and long par 4s really got up her sleeve. The women's tee boxes were placed about 25 yards from long 45 degree slopes. There was no way to clear the hill with a driver or 3 wood and a wedge could not travel far enough to top the hill. We felt it was very poor placement of the wormen's tees.

Played at Black Mountain for the second day in a row. The course was in great shape but is beginning to get dry, not much rain lately. Greens held very well but are kinda slow so they don't break as much as one might expect. Wife and I paired up with a young couple, had a lot of fun. Turns out the young man was from my home town. Great day golfing - but then - any day golfing is a great day.
