I understand the Osprey course is not Martin Downs premiere course but there were areas of neglect showing throughout the course. Mostly the lack of attention to detail you find on the nicer courses. Being that this is the course the public is allowed in to play it is understandable. The bunkers were horribly packed down and maintained and the bag drop employees were not attentive.

This was a fun round. Course not too crowded, play moved along nicely. The course plays a little short for the tee box markers. I found myself having to drop back a tee so it felt like I was full swinging Not a problem though.The course condition and layout was good and there were some challenges for first time playing the course. The staff was great: from the Bag Drop to the Pro Shop to the Starter. I will return to play again.

I last played this course 3 years ago. Now I remember why. Nothing to see here. The GC of Jupiter is way over priced. Although the course was in good shape the value still wasn't there. The play was slow, slow, slow to the point of distraction and focus altering. The clientele appeared to be very old and didn't care much about golf courtesy or anything about others on the course. It didn't help that the course provided next to nothing in the way yardages or lay out. Not even a sketch of the hole on the score cards or in the cart ( no GPS and not sky caddie mapped). The herky-jerky gas powered carts made for an awkward ride. Personally I did't care for the place but I have to admit the place was packed. Maybe over booked or too short an interval on the tee times. They charged me less than the quoted price on Golf Now but I don't think I be going back.

I have played this course over 12 times in 2013. It offers great value for the price. The new managemnt is making steady improvents to the course. The greens are very good and so are the tee boxes. If there is one draw back to this course; some of the fairways are very hard. Not all of them but enough to where some attention should be given to them in the future. The course has some challenging holes with a good mix of water, bunkers, and out of bounds. Hopefully they won't price them self out to not make the trip worth while. The pro shop staff and maintainence folks are very nice and the restaurant food is very good with pleasant people to serve you.

I have played this course off and on over the years. It is a very nice muni with a great natural south florida eco feel; gators, wetland, wading birds,etc. The course has enough water, tight spots and hazards to require your focus while not being over whelming. The course is maintained well and the greens are in good shape.
