Greens at Renton - Blue Nine
Played On 05/13/2016A great coarse!
The Greens at Renton is a beautiful course nestled between the local apple orchards in a country setting. The fairways are always great. There is a good amount of elevation change that makes the game more interesting. The day I was there the greens had recently been aerated and sanded. This made putting challenging but is a good sign that the coarse is being maintained properly.
Dunnville Golf and Country Club
Played On 08/31/2015Good course
Dunnville G&C is an old and well established course. I have played it 8-12 times will be there again.
It is a nine hole twice course. There are different tee offs for the back nine that change the course enough to keep it interesting.
The mature trees provide shade at the tee areas and the Grand River always seems to provide a breeze to cool you down.
Burford Golf Links
Played On 08/25/2015Needs work
This course needs a lot of work. Almost all the tee off areas were rounded on top so it was difficult to get a level tee off. The fairways we ok but had a lot of weeds. The greens were not receptive so, when you put a good strike on the putting green most time it would roll off.
The course is next to hwy 403 so there is a lot of traffic noise.
Oak Gables Golf Club - Maple Course
Played On 07/13/2015Maple/Oaks
This is a short course that helps practice your short game and will get you to use your full range of irons.
The sand traps have been filled in so there is no practice in that regard.
When I played the greens had been recently sanded and aerated which of course affects your putting.
