Course is fine but as usual there is always an issue with the staff at some point during the visit. This time was with the cart return person who demeans and insults you when you ask for your key deposit back at the end of the round. He assumes that it’s supposed to be his and when you ask for it back he gets nasty and begrudgingly returns it with insults. It leaves a bad feeling leaving after having a confrontation.
Go elsewhere where the staff have some respect for paying golfers.

The course is an old school course with a very high slope because there is trouble everywhere. It’s not enjoyable to play because of the constant danger. It doesn’t look like any money is put into the course. It’s rock hard and full of weeds.
I wouldn’t play it again.
Staff were super nice.

Last time I played hear a year ago the staff were rude the pace of play was dreadful and the course was in medium condition. Everything has improved upon this visit. I’d now recommend it.

9holes - 3hrs. Pace of play is a joke. Overbooked no rangers. 3 groups waiting on the fIrst tee with a group on the fairway and another one on the green. Don’t waste your time or money coming here. Nothing open and a rude staff also.

The course charges full price in the evening and then throws you off at 720pm when it's still bright out. A nasty old ranger comes to your hole and harasses you to leave so he can go home, and revs his golf cart while your hitting. They don't tell you this when you pay full price at 430pm and its not dark until after 8pm.
Go somewhere else you can get 3 more holes for your money in the evening.

The course had 4balls of Asians playing at crawling speed holding up everyone else. People were jumping holes to avoid them. No consideration and no help from the course.

If you’re playing golf in the poconos area and are looking for a good course I would recommend a round here. It’s a good layout and it’s in excellent condition. Greens are immaculate tho a little firm. The ball takes a big first hop. Good challenging course from the blues. In the top tier around the poconos. Just be careful with the first hole it’s the worst feature on the course. Lay back to 150yrds or you’ll go into a blind pond.

After you get past the disaster that is a clubhouse it’s all good from there. The course is amazing. Great layout perfect condition excellent greens and a great setting. When your on any given hole you never see another hole. Complete isolation. It’s an experience. Pick the right tees. If you hit it long go backs bit because you’ll outdrive some of the doglegs. The place is one of the top courses around the poconos and well worth the drive to get to it. Don’t skip it to play a cheaper course. It’s worth the extra couple of bucks.
