New greens rolled smoothly and at good speed. They were firm and that would be expected in the first year. The larger size of most all greens is an improvement over the previous years.

An early afternoon tee time resulted in a 4 hour round with very little waiting which is especially good for February.

Conditions were very good especially considering the rain a few days prior. Greens were soft but were smooth and rolled a bit faster than they looked. Fairways are Bermuda grass and got a perfect lie every time. Rough was thick but fair.

Staff was friendly and sent us off a bit early. Play was a bit light for a Monday in August. Completed round in less than 4 hours and only waited a few holes.

Beverage cart came by 3 times.

Overall, good day especially on a hot deal.

We arrived 45 minutes early and the staff was friendly and told us to go ahead as there was very little play booked. Course condition was good except for the bunkers that were for the most part unkept. The course has recovered from the poor conditions in July-August. Fairways were soft due to heavy rain 2 days earlier but in good condition. Carts were 90 degrees.

Even though there were very few golfers, we saw the beverage cart 4 times.

Bottom line, excellent value on a Hot Deal.

Staff was friendly and professional. The greens were the fastest and smoothest that I have played all year. Fairways were wet in spots and it was cart path only for about half the holes which was not bad for the end of November.
Speed of play was slow and we waited on many holes. No marshall's were available to speed up play. Since it was late in the season, staff was most likely reduced. In the future it would be a good idea to have staff available "on call" for weekend days when the weather is warm as it was today.
Overall, it was very good value for the money paid on a hot deal.

Fairways were in good condition and I never had a bad lie. Rough was spotty with some bare spots and weeks. Greens were smooth but slow. Traps had consistent sand base and were raked smooth. Practice range had excellent turf.
Bottom line, good value for what I paid.

For a Saturday time at 12:40, the speed of play was as expected of 4 1/2 hours. The staff was professional when we arrived and in the golf shop when checking in. The on-course beverage cart met our group frequently, at least 5 times which was excellent for a hot day.

Having played at Ocean Pines many times, the course was in good condition with one exception. The greens were significantly slower than in past years.

The clubhouse bar/grill and locker room have been redone and are very nice for a post round drink.
