Dr. Charles L. Sifford Golf Course at Revolution Park

This is one of the best kept courses in the Charlotte area open to the public. The driving range is normally in rough shape but have to keep in mind it’s a muni. The chipping and putting greens make up for any lost quality on the range. Fun place to walk 9 and feel like you definitely get a round of golf worth your money.

I have always liked this course but thought for the price they charge it wasn’t worth it. First time playing it in a while and was very happy with the course conditions. Greens were a little slower than I’m used to but figured them out. Would recommend playing this course for the right price but the weekend morning rates are a bit steep.

Three greens in a row on the start of the back 9 had little or no grass on them. The price of the round made this a little more acceptable but still wouldn’t run back to play here again. A lot of the tee boxes were in rough shape and about half them were tough to get a tee in the ground.
