Some recent negative reviews about this course but I was really pleasantly surprised. Some of the greens are in rough shape but for the most part the course was in good condition for late summer. Layout was playable but had some challenging holes from the blue tees. No development anywhere around the course so just trees, water and nature to look at which I really enjoyed. Employees were friendly, 6 pack of beer was reasonably priced. 4:15 minute round on a holiday weekend 12 minutes from our hotel for $25 hot rate, seriously wants not to like? I’ll definitely be back.

Blown away by the value for the money at this course. Really nice playable layout with great views and super tricky undulated greens a good test for any player. It is a bit of a drive but I am looking forward to making the trip again soon.

Last played here in 2018 and didn’t think much of the course at the time. The layout is decent but the greens and fairways are in much better shape than on my last visit. Lady in the proshop was super friendly. $45 for 18 with a cart during the week is a little pricey but a hot deal or a promo code and I’ll be back soon.

Very different 9s here due to some of the course being older. Really enjoyed The Lakes 9 old school, small greens and tree lined fairways with enough water and elevation changes to keep it interesting. The Mountain 9 is much newer and feels like a different course. Spectacular views of the Massanutten ridge line but other than a couple of holes the layout is kinda bland and almost every fairway is lined with houses. Good deal for the hot rate I booked… Hope to play the Lakes and Peak 9s on my next visit to see the original layout.

Been a few years since I have played this track and had a really good time. Greens have been aerated and sanded but were smooth enough. Fairways are in pretty nice shape, and the bunkers were the best I have seen in the last month.
