It's a shame it's in such poor share...I would call it a goat ranch, but that would be generous.

From what I understand this used to be a nice course. It is now in extremely poor condition. Sandhill Cranes are tearing it up as they are not spraying for bugs. Some of the greens were not even putable. Something needs to change before we ever play this course again!

Most of the tee boxes and greens are elevated making it extremely difficult. The 18th hole is over water making it a very long shot for average golfer. There is no bailout area. Not well designed hole.

We were not greeted upon arrival. Had to figure out where to sign in (basement and no signage as to where to go). Staff was not friendly or accommodating. Course cart paths were underwater on several holes...Carts were in terrible shape. This was probably once a good course that has not been maintained. Hopefully someone will bring it back to playable again.

I was impressed with their starter...he seemed on top of his job.

However, during our back 9 a ranger asked us to step aside for a 5-some behind us. We were keeping up with the group in front of us....even waiting on some tee boxes.

Then when our round was complete, no one asked to assist me and my 90-year old husband with our clubs. I ended up doing it myself. They completely ignored me.

My husband is a now 89 years old and has had several back surgeries...and we could not take the cart off the path in certain areas. This made for a very difficult round of golf and held up play behind us as he just couldn't move very fast up and down inclines. I feel like management is treating us like 2 year olds...we just barely tried to turn around on one hole and the cart just quit. It would not move forward or backward and we ended up pushing it a bit.

A great mid-value course. They have put new sand in most bunkers...a much needed improvement. The only problem I had today were rock hard tee boxes where I could not get a tee into the ground ANYWHERE...

The staff at this course was non-existent... There was one person there to unload bags when we drove up and no one there to unload them when we were done. The guy behind the desk taking our credit card was a bit brusque. They really need to work on their hospitality.

Unfortunately we were stuck behind a group of 5 guys (who we later found out as members/owners had the right to play a fivesome). They never even considered allowing us as a two some to play through. Made for an extremely long day. I am of the opinion that a fivesome should never be allowed on a course under any circumstances.

Overseeding completed and tee boxes had not been mowed...however, the main issue was not stepping in all the "goose poop." The are doing nothing to keep critters in check unfortunately.

Also, the pace of play was horrible...took us 5 hours to complete our round.

We were in a foursome where the two guys were single digit handicappers...and the group in front of us was always behind. By the time we waited to hit our shots I almost forgot why we were there. Marshals did not assist until one of the guys we were playing with hailed one over and asked for him to take charge (unfortunately we were on the #16 tee box). Took us 5 hours to play.
