Had fun playing this course. It's been 10 years since we last played it. Ownership/management making the effort to keep improving the course. Pro shop was very informative and honest about the course conditions. Greens were in great shape and rolled very true although quite slow. They were a little spongy but we did not come across any green that wasn't in lush condition. We rolled the ball over due to some rough conditions in the fairways and the traps need sand - the pro shop had told us about the traps. Overall very nice experience. I hope people give this course a chance to continue to improve.

Played Lyman many times and while sometimes play is slow, it's been an overall good experience. My only criticism is their website never tells you when the course has been aerated. The rough, fairways and greens were all recently done. Would like to know before hand what to expect and then weight the overall value before booking tee time.

Took my 15 year old son and 12 year old neighbor on a Wednesday at 1pm. Hot and humid day and only a few golfers on the course at the time. Course conditions were excellent for this old 9 hole course that I've been coming to for 40+ years. Had a great time. Great for beginners but so much better than playing an executive type course.
