Seaview - The Pines Course
Played On 06/10/2022Golf during the LPGA Classic
I played this course a lot during the pandemic but the first time this year. Definitely one of the better courses in the area. It has a lot of tradition and everything was great. Course was in good condition and reasonable layout. There are a lot of dog leg, which is somewhat challenging. Cart person came three times. Starter was friendly and managed the tee time well. The Cart was in good condition but no gps on cart. We played the pine course during the LPGA classic, which is played on the bay course. Saw the ladies practicing before round. Pretty amazing to watch. Only negative we were not told ahead that we could not use the range or putting area due to the event.

Played On 06/11/2021Great course, but limited atmosphere
As a golfer, you will enjoy the well maintained course which is very long, wide and fun to play (a lot of bunkers to challenge you). Maybe it was the rain on a Friday afternoon, but the place was quiet. Twosome in front of us and twosome behind us. A bit slow with the twosome in front of us backing us up, but still played in four hours. I just want a lively environment as part of the overall experience There was nobody around when we finished. Carts were a bit old. Not 100 percent sure why this place is top rated course in the area. I played Harbor Pines and seaview, and I feel they are better.
Dunwoodie Golf Course
Played On 04/23/2021Nice slightly Tight and Short Course
Nice golf course. Driving range, practice are, restaurant, clean bathrooms, and good layout. A bit short at 6000 yards, and somewhat tight for many hours. Greens where decent and fast, although it could be nicer. I would play again.

Played On 04/03/2021Excellent course for the money
On Hilton Head Island. Very convenience to get to. Nice shop and restaurant. Excellent practice area including driving range, putting and chipping area. Upper mid-range course. There are a lot of wildlife; we saw titles, birds, deer and alligators. Watch out for alligators on the course!!!!!! We saw three during our three rounds. Surprised by one at the 18th hole. It was just there next to the water. Very dangerous. No signs or warning from staff/starter. I was shocked that they did not remove or warn us as it was very large.
Thank you for your review and feedback. We're happy you enjoyed your round and had an opportunity to view some of Hilton Head Island's natural beauty and wildlife.
Thanks,

Played On 11/06/2020Good city course
Limited amenities. cafe not opened but food and drinks through window. No Beer cart. Traffic from city might be tough depending on day and time. Some Tee area had no grass. Overall, good experience.
