Cypress Lakes Golf Club
Played On 08/18/2020Great shape !
I had not played here in about 2 years or so. The course was in great shape. No beverage cart (it is 100 degrees). They did have a sign up on the pro shop counter telling players that though. Pro shop staff (Scott) never greeted me and kept on talking with someone else in the shop. One of the best public courses in Houston.
Pearland Golf Club
Played On 03/04/2016Come play !!
Played this course for the first time today. Staff is awesome ! Very friendly. The course is in great condition. I especially loved the greens. The pins were placed like Sunday pins. The greens rolled great with good speed. Plenty of undulation on the greens. It takes some local knowledge to score well. Carts equipped with GPS . Pay attention to the GPS maps as there is water you cannot see on a few of the holes.
Wildcat Golf Club - The Highlands
Played On 10/19/2015Great shape !!!
I had not played Wildcat in 2-3 years. I was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly, the course was in excellent shape and the greens were near perfect. Got a $19 hot deal on Golfnow. It was worth the drive (about 40 miles for me). Come check it out. you'll be glad you did !!
Tour 18 Houston
Played On 09/25/2015Great condition !!!!
Had not played Tour 18 in a year or so. Great shape all the way around! Ian in the shop was friendly and personable. Course was in the best shape I have seen it in. Come play !!
Red Wolf Golf Resort
Played On 08/27/2015Great greens !
Had not been to Redwolf in a while. Greens are in great shape, the best I have ever seen them. Tuesdays and Thursdays are dollar beer, hot dogs and sodas. Overall, course conditions are the best in a long time. We were a foursome and there were quite a few twosome and singjes.
Cypress Lakes Golf Club
Played On 04/16/2014Great layout
The greens are almost all the way back . Pace of play got very slow on the 15th tee. I saw three fivesomes between the 15th and 17th holes. I skipped 15,16 and 17 and played 18, otherwise, it would have been a 5 hour round. Unacceptable pace of play; especially for a Wednesday afternoon.
Cypress Lakes Golf Club
Played On 7/15/2013Great course !
I played Tuesday afternoon (surprisingly) by myself in 2 1/2 hours. The greens were rolling great. They are just about all the way back to normal after aerification. The wind started kicking up due to storm activity and that really helps defend the course. This was a great value thanks to golfnow.
