I tend to rush when I play single, but not here. Jack is all about shot making and that is featured at Old Corkscrew. A great course to put away the scorecard and play a match with your partner. Great off season rate and conditions. Played twice this week and loved it. Ready to take the Corkscrew game back to my home course.

My 2nd visit in a few years didn’t disappoint. Terrific greens and good challenge for mid handicapper like me. Great staff and membership/local players that always make me feel like a club member for the day. ALL greens are elevated on this course and the wind blows a lot. Don’t spare going one or two clubs stronger than your usual when conditions warrant.

I last played Chimera three years ago when it was named Tuscany and this time was as good or better than the last. Excellent shape with just a couple of greens with some bare spots. Was first off and played solo in 2.5 hours while my wife hit the spa. $30 Uber ride from the strip. Still can’t understand why they changed the name, I can never remember the new name It was less expensive under the old name. The non-resident fees are high so grab a hot deal if you can. Great course, all green and fun layout.

Go here for a scorecard reboot and confidence builder after taking a beating at Plantation course. Go early if you're a single to beat the co-ed twosomes and foursomes later in the day. Putts break toward the ocean....but you knew that. I teed off at 6:45. Played 18 in 2.5 hrs and got another nine in on the replay rate before the course slowed down too much. Nice lies on fsirway turf.

Had a great day showing up as a single at the end of a week of work in the area. The starter got me paired up including a round with the Men's club in the afternoon which really made me feel at home. Thanks Stan, Lance and Russ! Course looks easy but plays tough. Good test of your short game and the best rolling greens I have ever played on outside of a PGA tournament caliber course.
