Have not played regularly because of physical problems ,but on the road back starting today. Have played here in the past.nice layout newer carts , nice clubhouse ,bar etc.
My only negative was they had singles playing on a Saturday afternoon , pace was awful .greens were very fast , fairways in good shape and tee box,s also very good.

Never dissapointed at the river club. Excellent course in a great location. Great staff. Has a driving range , bar ,restaurant ,gps in carts , cart girls, putting and chipping area. Adequate parking

Executive course . Short course no par 5, s but some challenging par 4 and 3,s. Nice place to play a practice round in 2 1/2 3 hours.friendly staff , water and clean rest rooms on the course. Conditions were ok for this time of the year, during our busy winter season. Carts are also clean and in good shape. No gps on meadows carts, but not really necessary ....2 nd shot is usually a short iron to the pin.

Worth a few hours . Never a hold up when crowded ,even at the par 3,s. Enjoyable round

Perfect course for me , still rehabbing a Rotator cuff surgery. This is a old Executive course ,no par 5's , has 2 par 4's on both nines. The par 3's are 150 -170 yds-----with I think 2 100yd shorties.

Adequate water stops ------my hint is play behind someone who knows the course ,its easy to get to wrong tee box. Cart paths are sporatic. Overall for the price , Fun place.

After a rainout on our last planned outing , I arranged a tee time at the highlands. A snowbird pal of mine told me this is a really nice layout and everything at the highlands was above average. He was right ,we had no complaints. Very enjoyable course , beautiful and scenic thru this country club. I never found any homes and condo that were too close to the fairways and greens.i look forward to playing here again.

Nice wide fairways , club house is a temporary facility its adequate ,good food and small bar. Friendly staff.as it matures it will only get better. Would recommend to all levels of players

a tough "Palmer course" take chances to cut strokes----add strokes if your 15+ . Very enjoyable ,beautiful views.You will not be disappointed.

Everyone playing fast on this exciting course-----after the first tee never we only viewed birds ,cart service gal and the ranger. Course in great shape----could use some water in the retention ponds (rain will come this summer)

played 18 in 3hours---some very nice par 4 's and a mixture of short 110 yd to 170 yd par 3's. Nice day to practice your short irons.

always a challenging fair course--Played on a fall Sunday and waited only on the first tee---it moved along. Nice driving range ,chipping & putting greens are huge. Lots of fun.

Narrow fairways ,beautiful layout ,peaceful Florida Golf. This is the one "Not to Miss" if your in the Sarasota/Bradenton area--Just off I75 at interchange 217

Front 9 was outstanding--back nine has a water table problem--------it was a little marschy on a number of the holes. Value for the dollar was excellent---------nice practice round .

I have played here at least 5times a year since 2005-----The improvements in the last year are very obvious. If you were disappointed in the past give "River Run" another shot.

Easy to get to off St Hwy 64 & Lakewood Blvd in Bradenton. Some holes meander thru a nice development ,others typical flat florida-------water comes into play on a few holes. #11 is a real unique water surrounding the tee box & 1st landing area----after that your home free---Enjoyable

Course weaves thru the development and thru natural Florida settings. You can enjoy this long course by moving up a tee box----otherwise it plays very long. Clubhouse bar and grill great for after 9 or 18 holes. Friendly staff.

nice club house , bar ,restaurant. Course in very good condition. It is a challenging course w/lots of water & well placed hazards. Played in less than 4hrs.
