I have played here a few times however, was quite disappointed in a few of the greens that have appeared to be lost including one on the front 9 that was closed and had a temporary green. Some of the greens were dead in some spots but most were in excellent condition. The layout is nice and challenging. If I had to pay more than what I did with the condition of some of the greens it wouldn't be worth it.

IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD THE CHANCE TO PLAY BEAR'S BEST YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO. THE LAYOUT IS AMAZING, THE COURSE CONDITIONS ARE IMPECCABLE, WITH THE ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS THE FIRMNESS OF THE SAND IN THE BUNKERS MADE IT DIFFICULT TO GET UNDER THE BALL. THE BLACK SAND BUNKERS HOWEVER, PLAYED MUCH EASIER AS THEY WERE MUCH SOFTER AND THE LOOK FROM THE TEE BOX OF THE BLACK SAND MADE IT FEEL LIKE I WAS IN HAWAII... THE GREENS HAD JUST BEEN AERATED JUST 5 DAYS BEFORE WE PLAYED BUT WERE STILL VERY FAST AND NOT TOO BUMPY.. CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY THEM WHEN THE GREENS ARE NORMAL. THIS IS A MUST PLAY WHEN IN VEGAS AND AND OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY SOME OF MR. NICKLAUS ' GREATEST DESIGNS. WINNER!!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. was in very good condition considering it just opened a few weeks ago. Fairways are narrow and well defined, greens were soft and held high approach shots and excellent condition for this time of year. Landis Creek is not a long course but can be very challenging, you still need to put the ball in the correct spots off the tee.

What a great course to play. The greens are splendid. Quick and soft.. ball stops on a dime. Fairways are plush and well maintained.. very enjoyable to play. Highly recommended. .
