Sugar Mountain Golf Club
Played On 07/30/2022Fun change of pace.
Enjoyed getting in a round only hitting driver twice. Good variety of holes with some challenging par 3s. Only problem was people not repairing or incorrectly repairing ball marks on bent greens.
Look forward to playing again knowing what to hit on couple of holes.
Boone Golf Club
Played On 07/28/2022Challenging tract
Greens are huge with lots of undulation. Fair landing areas, but be aware of the wind conditions, or you will find yourself out of position.
Crystal Falls Golf Course
Played On 05/31/2022I can say I played it.
Couple of fun par 3s, but many unfair holes. You hit a quality shot to only end way right due to severe slope of fairways. Greens were true.
Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club
Played On 10/06/2021Convenient to play, but needs some work.
The course was convenient for us to play as out of town guests. Staff was very friendly. Typical public course wear on fairways. Greens need some cleanup as there was a lot of wild grass in the greens. Maintenance staff did not show any concern for golfers as the drove right past while we prepared to hit shots.
Old South Golf Links
Played On 09/19/2021Fun and challenging course.
Played the tips and enjoyed the diversity of holes on the course. My wife, who is a beginning, played also and liked the course. Will play again.
Staff was very courteous.

Forest Creek Golf Club

Belong to local club, but played Forest Creek on day my club was closed. Enjoyed the layout. I would rate it on upper end of daily fee courses in the area. Challenging Par 3s. Some course knowledge is helpful and GPS assisted a lot.
Delaware Springs Golf Course
Played On 03/26/2021You can tell there has been a staff change
Lots of confusion with booking. Used GolfNow to book. Contacted course about Senior rate and was told they would honor, but just let them know when we checked in. When we checked in, we were told since we booked online, we could not get Senior rate. We were also told the Senior rate was higher than originally quoted. Pace was over 5 hours due to 2 wedding parties going out in front of us.

Arrowhead Golf Course

For a course that gets lots of play, it was a good challenge to play. My wife, who is a beginner, enjoyed playing the course as it did not require many carries for her from the forward tees. I played the back tees and was challenged. Greens were pretty thin, but overall the course condition allowed us to enjoy the round.

Played with our spouses and allowed for enjoyable round. Basic amenities, but very playable for all levels.

Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club
Played On 05/20/2017Different course to play
Staff was friendly and couteous. Played the course as my normal course was not available. Public course, so you get what you pay for. Price is a little high, but marshalls kept pace going as well as possible. Some of the tee boxes need work.
Layout of course has never been my favorite, but that is just my personal view. Good to play somewhere different every once in a while.

Harbor at Wild Dunes Golf Links
Played On 04/02/2017Tight, but fair
Course has long par 4s and 6 par 3a. Par 5's we relatively easy. Very windy day which made back nine tough. Greens rolled very good.
Course has no driving range to warm up on.
