Haven’t played in awhile, but last time we did it was clear new owners were putting money back into course. Was very impressed today to see how much further it has come! Greens great albeit a bit slower than used to. Fairways nice, bunkers very playable. Only knock would be course was wet/damp all though it hasn’t rained all that much...especially in shaded areas. Will def be coming back soon. Kept it up!!

So....I was reluctant to go back to Cypress Knoll after playing it about 6 months ago. Saw a good deal online, so gave it another chance after reading some of the recent reviews. Wow! The new owners are clearly giving their superintendent the means necessary to get this challenging track back to its glory days. Aside from a few outer edges, the greens were in perfect shape. Fairways were good, just a bit soggy from all the recent rain. Staff was great; thank you Janice. I was on the fence to write this review as don’t want to let the secret out, but would be doing my fellow golfers a disservice otherwise. Get on it before rates go up!!

Overall fun layout. Played with family who aren’t all that long, so played from white tee boxes. Found myself hitting allot of 5 irons, but kept me out of trouble with 100 yard wedge in on many holes. Pretty narrow, so not a place you want to spray it off the tee. Cart girl was awesome...Ryleigh I think her name was. Super sweet and bubbly. Only complaint (aside from heat,) was the lack of signs between holes. Really confusing for first time player...that’s been drinking. Not a big deal, but worth the mention. Looked like there was some damage to a few fairways/rough on back nine, but looks like they are working on it. Go play if you get a chance!

Despite the heat, round was awesome! Very scenic and challenging course. Course was in great shape. Really enjoyed the sheer walls that had to be carried onto green. Go play it if you can!
