Quintero Golf Club
Played On 03/16/2018Incredible Golf Course but Slow Play
For anyone who loves golf this is a must play. The views, course layout and condition are world class and I mean truly amazing . Unfortunately the day we played was a 5+ hour round. No reason for that as they did have marshals on the course. This is the most scenic and well designed high desert golf course I have seen. it is out in the middle of nowhere so be advised that you need to have lead time to get there. Well worth it though provided pace of play is better. they did give us a credit toward future play when we complained so that says something.
Lookout Mountain Golf Club
Played On 02/16/2016Not up to par
With so many quality courses in this area this one is over rated by a mile. Fairways were in poor condition and traps were close to unplayable for lack of depth in sand. Great vies from the high parts of the course which has significant elevation changes. We quit with three to play and others did to because of the time to play. For a Tuesday I would consider this not a good sign,
Lanier Golf Club
Played On 06/13/2015Needs a lot of work
Lanier is not in very good shape as greens are extremely rough. Pace of play was 5 hours with no real push by club to speed up play. The course did not have beer or a beverage cart. If you could go elsewhere you would be better served.
Crystal Falls Golf Club
Played On 05/20/2015Hidden Pearl
Out in the middle of nowhere in North Atlanta area this course has character and is well designed. In good shape as fairways like all others now have not completely filled in but green true and speed around 10-11. Staff friendly and cost of beverages and food very good. Three of the Par 3's are on the short side but it has several significant par 4s even from the white tees that will test you. Par 5s are also tough as the course undulation requires tee shots and approach shots with a lot of thought. Play it!
Our Horendous Experience
Our experience was awful at this course. the staff is the rudest staff I have ever encountered. The starter was exceptionally rude as well. my husband and I went out to have a fun round, and we did not. the course is a goat ranch. it should not be on golf now, in fact, the green fees are over priced for the shape of the course, the beer prices are that of a 4 star golf club, and I can assure you this is not. I am a club member at 2 clubs in GA and FL and this course should use the tag line: the RUDEST golf staff in the panhandle. Skip this and go to Holiday or Camp Creek.
The Legacy Golf Club
Played On 09/11/2014Not told they were on 9 holes with one side closed
Course had not recovered from rain storm a few days before. Still in tough shape as fairways and bunkers not back in condition. Unfortunately since I paid GolfNow in advance I was unable to get a realistic price for the course in the condition it was in.
Wicked Stick Links
Played On 10/5/2013a bargain at under $50 per person!
Course is a bargain. In very good shape. Staff goes out of their way to help. Even had a closest to the pin game for you. Toughness can be varied by tee choice easily. Fair test for women as well.
Chestatee Golf Club
Played On 10/16/2012beautiful layout, conditions good, greens improving
Chestatee is a beautiful layout in the fall with leaves turning. Greens are recovering from Summer issues and close to great condition. Rest of layout is in excellent shape with solid service from staff.
Thank you for the comments and we value your feedback. Lookout Mountains pace of play standard is 4 hours and 18 minutes. We apologize if we did not live up to that expectation as it can sometimes be challenging to maintain that pace with such a packed field. We recently put 5 tons of sand in many different bunkers throughout the course. We hope to see you and your friends again in the future.
