Legend Trail Golf Club

The course conditions were excellent. Greens were perfection. Fast and true. Big kudos for pace of play and Marshall managing the course. ,
This course is difficult for the average player, (I’m a 7 hndcp and play numerous times per week). If you don’t hit the ball straight you had better bring at least 1 box of balls. To further add the the difficulty and really my only gripe, the carts don’t have modern day GPS and players have absolutely no idea where to hit the ball. If you want to have any chance at scoring on this course, you MUST buy a yardage book (assuming it’s offered). As is the case with desert courses, blind tee shots and forced carries are made impossible without yardage details.
Talking Stick Golf Club - O'odham Course
Played On 12/08/2019Checked most of the boxes
First time here and although the course wasn’t memorable from a design standpoint, it checked most of the boxes for me. We were the 3rd time off and played in 3:50. Didn’t see any marshals . Conditions were better than average. WIDE OPEN fairways. Great option for the average player. No GPS on carts but most holes had obvious landing areas.
When i can play 18 in under 4 hours on a Sunday at a daily fee course , I’m happy. It’s worth $100 in season. Staff very friendly.
Lost Canyons Golf Club - Shadow Course
Played On 6/23/2013Could be great.......
Paid $55 for Shadow Course. When I arrived, was informed that they don't water any fairways. Only the greens and tee boxes were alive. Paid another $20 to play the "watered" course. It was better but not great. Greens were in good shape. Definitely not worth the $75. The guy I played with only paid $55. Something weird going on there. The GPS is horrible. Only shows yardage, no picture of holes. Lots of blind shots. Very disappointed.
