Played On 06/20/2022Good layout. Maintenance not as good as it used to be.
Have played this course several times a year for many years now. The greens are in rough shape now so putts bounce a lot. Looks like branches and debris hasn’t been cleaned up yet after a recent storm. Sand traps have inconsistent sand and players don’t rake very well.
Pace of play kind of slow for summer when course not very full but all it takes is one group to slow everyone else down.
Restrooms need attention on course. No more Covid cleanliness anymore, like soap provided.

Played On 11/13/2020Good course. Facilities need a little attention.
I play here a about once a month. The course is in good shape after overseeding and pace of play was reasonable for a Friday afternoon.
The negatives are they seem to have given up on COVID precautions except for the fact no players are allowed in the golf pro shop. You pay through a small window. That is okay and has worked all summer. They have returned rakes to some bunkers but only about half, so it is not clear if you are now to rake the bunkers. Ball washers are back. BUT and. a real concern is there is no soap in any of the restrooms on the course and no paper towels in most. No lights at all in one. So while protecting staff in the pro shop they don’t seem to have much safety concern for players. It was much better all summer. COVID cases are on the rise in Arizona but they are no longer concerned about precautions on the course,.,This will influence my decision to play there again for awhile although i do like the course,

We are doing everything we can to allow our guests the chance to complete their rounds safely and finish in a reasonable amount of time. Coyote Trails Golf Course
Played On 09/02/2020Short, challenging, well maintained, 9 hole course,.
The course was in excellent condition. It is quite hilly and narrrow with quite a few trees. So although it is not long it is challenging, Good mix of tees to accommodate various skill levels. It is a 9 hole course and although you can book 18 holes they don’t plan for players on a second nine. We played nine holes in good time and played 2 holes of the second nine only to face a shotgun tournament starring on all the holes so we were not able to play the second nine nor get a refund for not being able to play. We were told to go eat lunch in town and come back. We were also told we got a deal booking through GolfNow so we really only paid for nine holes at the walk-in rate.
So if you are looking for a nine hole course this is fine but be careful trying to play the 9 twice.
